It does, their def and eva practically double once you reach a certain point in each zone

lvl mnk to 50, do tor ring enm every week, profit!
seriously veg has the idea with this.
My group took 167 tries before we got our first Toredors Ring.
Or some other terrible number. It was fucking high.
I'm currently 1/70ish. Got one on my 14th win and never again. I know Tsuko is like 3/22or some shit like that
147? You should farm black tiger fangs instead.

Oh, and lol @ you melee.
still its a chance for a free 3mil item and it only take a little bit of time to do once a week. Not doing it would be silly imo.
Well not exactly free (I usually end up buying a tp wing. My vile elixir however I get from Serket), but def worth the shot.
all the gimp retards defending their retarded gimpness made me choke on my pringles
Just because you get the drop, doesn't make it free. It really really pisses me off when people think that because you get the drop yourself, the item suddenly isn't worth the gil. Go sell that for 3mil and rethink if you want to buy it back, or buy something else.
I'd use a Toreador ring over an Iota, if I wanted to drop the money on it, but Iota is pure upgrade over NQ sniper and I can use the money better elsewhere than that ring. And while I never prioritize agi or vit, getting them as free stats isn't something I'd complain about. If a dodge from the agi prevents you from having to hit an "oh shit" macro, it's adding DPS for you. If it's making you cast shadows less as /nin, it's adding DPS.
To each his own, but I'm pretty sure, Amano is a more efficient upgrade than going from Iota to Sniper+1 (per gil spent or w/e). Sniper+1 is just more realistic because it isn't over 100mil...
For the duo'ers, I tried it once, never again. I prefer solo by a long shot. Draw in occurs on random player as opposed to the person with hate. Mage kept getting drawn in instead of me and wasted my hundred fists cause I could never get near the thing. We wiped, lol.
Like he said, draw-in allows for him to get the full effects of his 2hr even after the mob's attack sends him flying across the place. I've had this happen before when I duoed with a MNK friend. He kept getting drawn-in to attack while I would keep trying to run back to the NM after each attack. At some point the NM just destroyed him and I was finally able to WS and win the ENM. I can imagine the situation being worse if that had been a WHM instead of a DD.
I thought this was well-known, but apparently not. The main NM only draws in the first party that enters the ENM; if you split your duo into two different parties, it will only draw in the first person that enters.
like draw in is the difficulty... empty seed x 3 is the issue.
Actually 80% of the time draw in is no problem for me. I just set up a windower macro that changes from fuma to fed kyahan every second for the entire fight. if you blink when empty seed hits, you don't move. With this and Hundred Fists, I've been able to kill it a single times w/o a single med nor even chakra.
