Iota vs Sniper +1 vs monies

Actually 80% of the time draw in is no problem for me. I just set up a windower macro that changes from fuma to fed kyahan every second for the entire fight. if you blink when empty seed hits, you don't move. With this and Hundred Fists, I've been able to kill it a single times w/o a single med nor even chakra.

I used to solo it this exact same way, but I hated randomly losing because of being unlucky. I've never lost when duo-ing, and I only use a TP wing and mithkabob as far as meds go. There's no right or wrong way to do the ENM, I was just stating it was possible to duo while still being drawn-in 100% of the time.

No shit sherlock I never argued about the drop rate not sucking. I argued that not doing a enm that you can solo without too much difficulty for a chance at a 3mil+ item is retarded. I have 2 accounts with 50+ mnk and I do it twice a week. I rarely ever wipe ( like 3 times out of 40+, watching your vid veg helped immensely) it hasn't dropped yet but I'm in no hurry, and impatience is the mother of stupidity. It'll come in time and I'll keep doing it even after I get 1/2 to keep for myself (or get lucky with my crafting and hq a sniper) w/e rly.

btw thanks for the macro idea of blinking every second, going to try it tomorrow.

I duo it weekly with pchan, monk+rdm cause I dont want to buy hi potions. 1 tp wing and hundered fist + chainspell cure makes it very easy. we are 4/ 50.

Usually when people claim they rarely wipe, it means that they often wipe, or it wouldn't be mentionning, right ? The fact is w/o protect you take big damage, if 3 empty seed go off simultaneously you are half dead, and there is no way you will use 6 hi potion while being punched by a thinker that hits for 100+ a pop while still taking benefit from hundredfist etc. Sure half of the time I see 2 empty seeds and the fight is a joke, but most of the time I end up burning 500 mp to cure the mnk and me.

again easily farmable (and really cheap on ah) and yes wiped 3 times out of now 42 tries, before I made a macro for hi pots + anima. Haven't wiped since I did that.

I personally have done this ENM about 40 times. I duo it every week as MNK/WAR + RDM/NIN.
Only meds needed are a meat kabob/Icarus Wing for the MNK, and a Terro or psychoanima for the RDM (Whichever is cheaper at the time.)

I have never wiped to this ENM with two people, even when I forgot an icarus wing. Anima is a must though. Holding out hope that a ring will drop some day.

Nice, 2 anima for sell, 2 persons on your server can do the ENM. Now let's all all take 30 min+ to farm the anima, make a trip to jeuno and still wipe since the pet is not the issue.

Polearm Sam with 2 Pole merits > Mnk for this ENM.

I don't think we've failed since like our 2nd try when we were unsure which "blue" MR to kill.

My group of 4 people splits into 2 groups, 1 goes polearm sam + rdm/whm, the other goes polearm sam + pld/whm (it's what the guy has...he flashes the popped thing, then rotates sentinel and invincible if needed, while curing the sam). Even when it gets messy and all of them are spamming empty seeds, we still don't fail. I don't think we've ever used a med either (just a mithkabob).

In general, I agree that people should be doing this, but personally, if I had to use a wing and a vile elixir and who knows what else every week, I don't think I would have done it pre Somber/Startling Cluster being worth enough to recoup costs.

its not the gil factor for some people, its about speding the 3 mil elsewhere other than 2 acc. for example Imperial Woots ingot x 3

I don't think there is anything 100% in this game, I mean I clearly remember wiping to nyzul once, it says it all. I'd say there is 5% chance that shits happens, about the same probability that a PLD could outdamage a pup.
