Didn't see a topic on this game, but has anyone else picked this up yet? I got it today and absolutely love it. You can definitely tell it was Clover that did this game. It's original, and a lot of fun. The violence is at a ridiculous level, but it makes the game. It's so over the top, you can't help but laugh. I laughed out loud numerous times while playing. It's got an original hip hop soundtrack that is surprisingly good, and some commentators that are really fun (though they repeat themselves sometimes)

From what I hear, it's a pretty short game, like 7-9 hours, but I'm enjoying every second of it. Anyone that has a Wii and likes creative titles, I recommend this. I'll probably hold onto this one even after beating it, just because it's so much fun, and there are so many ways to kill people.

I had to decide very hard between Madworld and Pokemon Platinum or a PSP. After many long, labourous days of thinking, I decided on the PSP.

However, in a few months I will definately buy MadWorld. I know a good game when I see one, and MadWorld gives me that feeling.

This'll be the first game to make me dust off my Wii this year. Been looking forward to it for awhile, and so far the reviews have all been nothing but great.

Greg Proops & John Di Maggio as the commentators had to be one of the best decisions they made for the game.

I am leaning towards renting it though due to the fact that the first run through takes about 6 hours. Sad really that the only use my Wii gets is from my 5 year old. The last game i played on it was No More Heroes... and after Madworld the NEXT game i expect to play on it is NMH2 (or Monster Hunter 3... whichever shows up first).

Def worth a rental or purchase, either way it's not disappointing. I only played for a short time but yea, i was catching myself loling hard at some of the kills i pulled.

Only downfall is.... game only runs in 480i

Dude, when I saw the screen not change to 480p I was all like D:

It's pretty good looking, but you HD would have made a huge difference.

Awful jokes/script and bad voice acting make good credits now? I know the game isn't supposed to be serious but it seems like they got a 6 year old to write the jokes and then added some swear words to appeal to "mature" gamers. Game looks great, but I find it hilarious that it's getting such solid reviews when it's practically God Hand with bonus points for being "artistic" and on the Wii yet God Hand got awful reviews.
