What Blockbuster do you use anyhow? The one up by Walmart off of 23 usually has more game rentals than the others.

On topic though, I'm thinking rental. Buddy is a manager at Gamestop and says it's a great game but doesn't have a ton of re-playability, so take that for what it's worth.

Awful jokes/script and bad voice acting make good credits now? I know the game isn't supposed to be serious but it seems like they got a 6 year old to write the jokes and then added some swear words to appeal to "mature" gamers. Game looks great, but I find it hilarious that it's getting such solid reviews when it's practically God Hand with bonus points for being "artistic" and on the Wii yet God Hand got awful reviews.

It reminds me of Whose Line Is It Anyway's credits...

You have my attention. I didn't pay much attention to this game actually, maybe I was wrong to. After all, House of the Dead 4 in the arcade was awesome

From what I read Overkill doesn't have a depressing setting in it like previous HotDs. It had more of a b movie/grindhouse feel to it. One of the characters (Washington) has a habbit dropping f bombs a ton in the game. I think in the ending movie it's said 43 times total.

The ending is hilarious as hell to watch to, so is the ice cream truck scene xD

Finally got to play this.

I don't think it could have been a bigger disappointment. The game is ridiculously easy. Not easy in the way that they messed up and made a certain move too good. No, this game must have been designed with 6 year olds in mind.

Yes, yes, it has cool graphics. Music is interesting and it is pretty funny.

I was hoping for Godhand 2.0 (to quote chartismantic) but what I got was Godhand 0.1. Pointless gimmicky controls does not constitute an update. It certainly doesn't justify the braindead AI, the huge amount of health, and the utter lack of anything like a combo. Was the Wii at fault here or is this what I can expect from Platinum Games?
