Speaking of Avalon Code, I seem to have gotten a bad rom or something as it won't get past the "loading" screen on my cycloDS. I downloaded 2 others, I guess I'll see how those work. How are you liking the game?

Not too sure there Atreides, works just fine on my Cyclo and I am pretty sure I don't even have the latest firmware. I can't check atm, but i think I may still be running the beta of 1.51? Maybe even 1.5? I think current firmware is 1.53 at the moment. Sounds like a bad dump, I have the XPA release. I hadn't heard of any protection on this one. One other person i saw had an issue with it freezing at the early part of the game where you enter your house, another had an issue when viewing animations in the book. Both had bad dumps. Game seems alright so far, been playing Tierkreis and Mana Khemia for PSP though...

I want to kill you people for suggesting A2.
Wasted my time downloading that and giving it a shot due to suggestions... this game is ass.

I guess it is more of a "if you liked the last one, you may like this one. If you hated the last one, pass on it" kinda thing. I enjoyed the last game for what it was... but having a harder time getting into A2... still.

Can't go wrong with any of Yuri's suggestions, i actually TOTALLY forgot about Canvas Curse... thanks! A couple others off the top of my head:

Picross (i could NOT put this one down from the day i got it...)
Rittai Picross (JP only at the moment, but basically Picross 3D)
Advance Wars Dark Conflict (the latest) - I like the difficulty on this one, and the art style of it is pretty well done also.
Luminous Arc (any fans?)
Lunar Knight

Some of these you would do well to look up first, and see if they are 'your kinda game'. A few are love/hate types, but i have enjoyed all of them.

You should definitely check out Sonic Rush. Probably just about the only good Sonic game in years. I haven't played Sonic Rush Adventure, so I'm not sure how that is, but its the sequel to Rush, so its probably pretty good.

I bought Suikoden Tierkreis yesterday and the game is so amazing I stayed up till 4am playing it. It's seriously one of the best DS games I have ever played. Get it get it get it! xD

The music is great, the storyline is kind of okay, the dungeons are big too and the character art is great.
Downside is: the voices, the hero sounds like he's reading without the use of punctuation, no runes, only 4 people in one party, no weapon smith - meaning, you buy different weapons to use...

I donno, I guess I was expecting a lot of things from a DS game... but they could've at least kept the runes and weapon smith...

Phantom Hourglass is really good. The only problem I had with it was having to return and sneak around the Temple of the Ocean King (or whatever it was called) after every single dungeon.

That, and the dungeons can be a little short, but that's to be expected from a handheld game, I guess.

Yep. Unpack it with DSLazy, and instead of replacing the arm7 file, you replace the arm9 file. Most of the topics that had the links for any downloads were yoinked off of GBAtemp though -.-
