bigger is always better.
bigger is always better.
I've been admiring everyone's setup so I thought I'd include mine too.

47", 32", and 24" screens. I usually do a lot of my PS3 playing on the 32" while watching TV on the big one. Especially when my wife is back there with me. The pillows underneath are helping to hide the cords so my 10 month old daughter can't get to them.
Ken, I have the same 32" TV as you and and I'm wondering, what's the resolution you have it set as for PC?
It's set at 1920 x 1080.
Oh alright, 60Hz refresh rate?
My 62" TV that's acted as my monitor for the past 5 years says no. Not even close to overkill. And I'm sure someone else has a projector that says my TV isn't overkill either. One of these days I'll upgrade so I can get 1080p vs 1080i and higher than 30hz. Besides, this TV wasn't designed to be hooked up to a computer, so having one that is would be a nice change.
The only way I'd see something above 24" as too big would be if it were situated in that same computer desk/1 foot away scenario, otherwise it would seem awesome.
Yes, but this thing is, who is actually using is as a computer monitor? Are you all using it to surf the web, write in word, edit in photoshop, send email, etc? Or just watching movies, looking at pictures, playing games?
It's really not a monitor in that case, it's just a TV thats running media off of your PC instead of your dvd player or ps3.
Ive a 42" TV thats hooked up for normal tv/dvd/gaming, that also happens to be connected to my PC for when I want to watch something streamed or downloaded, or a PC game. I do not consider it a monitor.
wow i see some really nice desktops out there. i would totally show mine... but im too shy.
Time to revive this thread again. :D Since I got a new tv-stand today I thought I might as well post.

^ Beautiful.
Nice shelves, Ikea?
They look nice, but the legs suck. I'd be stepping on those or tripping over them.
Getting a new case and mouse soon, but this is what I have now.
