It's been a while. I don't think I've posted a picture of my setup since I moved to the new house. I got rid of my 3rd monitor (didn't need 3 monitors after qutting FFXI, lol) not to mention the Samsung was ass. Up to over 20tb of usable storage.

The theater setup in the basement where I go to work on hot days (holy balls it's been hot):

Keyboard but no monitors?
I assume by that you mean monitor speakers. I've traditionally used headphones at my desk. The only reason I'd need monitors would be for verifying the levels of a song and I don't mix any music so there's no point in having them. I actually am building a pair for my computer tho, but it's unrelated.
Awesome :D be sure to post pictures when you do.
Those speakers look great in the last picture, seeing them head-on looks a lot more impressive than your signature shot.
When I saw the first picture I hadn't noticed the slide-out keyboard and starting thinking you somehow converted a midi-keyboard into a computer keyboard, lol /funeral dirge ♫ (shutdown)
Sure.
Thanks. Both of those images are before I finished polishing the paint. I just really liked the shot of the grain of the wood in the one I have in my signature.

Just put in 3 new LED fans and 2 12in Cold Cathode lights in my PC case.

Excuse the shitty pic from the shitty phone.
So I'm starting to think my desk is too high, it's the door desk I posted a page or 2 ago - fucking huge and awesome.
I have 2 options. Change the legs, they aren't sturdy enough anyway, so since I want to replace them it would be a really simple fix to just go 2 inches shorter. The other option is to build a massive keyboard trey. This would have to house my g15+ my mouse + my razer mousepad... we are looking at 2 1/2 feet wide at least. Plus i've never built one before.
I'm changing the legs anyway. Mine are too narrow or something and the desk wobbles a bit with them... so I'm gonna use like 4x4's or something and put some support across them.
Guess noone likes treys... I've broken all the treys on my previous desks anyway.
Trays suck.

If you get new legs and they still wobble, just add supports to them like this. A pint of varnish on some good wood will make it look good.
Yeah I was going to do either that or L brackets, along with side supports to connect legs.
Adding a skirt with bracing behind it would work, yeah. L brackets will work, but only the big ones will really do anything, but those will be an eyesore.
Something like

With addition leg support added.
I currently have no aprons, and I already know how to reduce wobble you don't need to go through posting all these images for me, but thank you.
It was more of a debate of lower the desk or add a trey. Try is probably better since my monitors are gonna be lower.
~10$ at a lumber store should get you all the wood ya need to make a skirt![]()
The nice part about my desk currently is it's mobile. My legs are detachable which is awesome. Anything I do to it is going to make it stationary =/
Fuck trays.
Yeah I've always had problems with them it just seems more appropriate with this desk. Monitors are going to be lowered if I lower the desk and they already kinda are lower than they should be.
