Recently bought a macbook pro 2011 13'' - 24'' monitor - 40 inch cheap tv

ps3 and 360 in the media chest (which doubles nicely for my jeans and shorts).

I work at home, so a nigga be distracted

Yeah they're pretty nice. Except mine has a squeaky space bar. Which I think I've come to ignore since I always have volume over it

The little keyboard you see there is one of the 104 key TE models, they finally started shipping them out. It isn't bad at all, but the keys are in odd places for all your functions and a few of your other items which I'm still trying to get used to.

Yes, I know I have no sound system, neighbors get bitchy here for small speakers so it isn't worth the trouble currently. We'll see what happens at end of next year when my contract expires and I go.... somewhere else.

Yeah those simple shelves are nice looking. Is that white Badtz Maru next to the incenses? Also you should find a better way to hang those lamps next to your bed. Maybe hang another cord if possible from the main's source and run the main straight down?

Yeah Xanthe they're Ikea Lack shalls. I was going to do the alternating scheme all the way to the floor on other side of the room but I liked it above my desk more... and was cheaper. They're pretty sturdy, can hold about 50 lbs a piece. And to Omniyoji, I have no idea what the figurine is, ex-girlfriend got me it... lol. I was actually going to find a way to hardwire my pendant lamps to a wall outlet inside the wall so you couldn't see the cords, but I got lazy and most likely won't finish that project until I move. >.>

Update:

Added some Jarpen shelves with capita legs that I saw a lot of people doing on Hardforum. Love how they came out. Happened to be at Ikea yesterday and had to grab them while there. Cleaned up some wiring as well, last photo before I add water to my case within the next month.

Also a necro bump so we can get some more posters.

I'll participate. Finally got my spare bedroom cleared out and moved my desk out of my bedroom. Not as fancy as some of the other setups here but I'm happy with the new space. Needs more nerd decorations though.

New server / work room setup. This will be changing soon, as I have (broken my bank -.-) finally ordered a replacement for the aging dataserver (the one on the far left, 15TB that will be replaced by a SAS complex (rather than all in one case) of 44TB (space before raid setup, so actual size is smaller a bit) and I'll salvage it, obviously case still good and some components inside like the raid card but the motherboard is flagging bad, half the memory bus is dead - before you say you'll never need that much space, know that the 15TB is nearly full) now that hdd prices have gone down. Also going to ZFS rather than the old RAID setup. All four computers here are used as servers in one way or another, and yes, that case inbetween the printer and monitor really is a desktop case, not a tower on its side, hah.
