Great build! Noticed one thing though - with the way that you have the HSF on the EVO oriented, it looks like you're either blowing air down into the case across your GPU, or up against the ceiling of the case, which doesn't appear to have an exhaust fan at the top. Seems to me that the optimal orientation of a CPU HSF is to have air blowing across the HSF where it gets exhausted directly out the back of the case. Any particular reason that you have it oriented top/bottom instead of sideways?

Good point! The case does not have a top exhaust. I should have the fan facing the rear then I assume?

Yeah, rotate the heatsink 90° clockwise, and ensure that the fan is oriented to blow air towards the rear, kinda like this:

Adding a second fan onto the Evo isn't going to make a significant difference in temps. When I added a second one to mine, I saw only about 2-3° drop. YMMV, of course, but whether that's worth the $$$ for the extra fan is up to you. If you do get it, yes, also make sure that it's blowing air towards the rear exhaust:

Good deal. I already have a fan so the only investment is my time.

Another question. I need to get the serial number for the motherboard and the only bard code with numbers I could find, Asus said it was not correct. They also stated the part number wouldn't work either. The csr told me the serial number should be on the top of the pci slot. I looked, and my buddy did, and we did not see a s/n or bar code. Any idea where this thing is?

When I had it out of the case I thoroughly searched and could not find it. The only bar code was the one I gave which they said is incorrect. Talk about frustrating!

I finally found it! It was on the pci slot on the bottom, not the main gpu pci slot. Asus said I will get an update in two days on status. Hopefully it gets here fast!
