Thank ya very much for you help. I started to look online for the couple things I still need but I may have to go to Best Buy to try out a few. I'm hesitant about purchasing a keyboard I'm unfamiliar with and may get a pair of cheapo speakers for some high quality ones later in life.

Maybe I can find some coupons (I have a newsletter somewhere)and let's hope I get a little more on my tax return for breathing room.

HD4850's do NOT crossfire well. Running crossfire just about halved my framerate.

Really? I had never heard that before. They seem to do well in some of the roundups I've seen (AnandTech: MultiGPU Update: Two-GPU Options in Depth), though not quite as well as how the 4870 crossfires (or as well as a single 4850x2 performs).

I think it depends on the game.. FFXI would probably not react well to a Crossfire or SLI setup.

@Best buy right now you can get a 25" Hannspree 1080p LCD for 239.99$ I picked mine up last week for 30$ more then got a price exchange yesterday, it's a great monitor and a deal hard to pass up. If I could I'd buy a 2nd one right now but still 200$ short on my current build which came out to 949.44$

I'd just get a torrent of Vista, but that's just me I don't like paying for stuff that's free online.

It is big enough to be sitting right in front of lol. I almost went with a 28in but it was around 120$ more so opted against it.

I'm still happy with my 22" (soon to be 22" x 2). My brother does have a very good 24", so I know what I'm missing but I think I'll be fine with 22"s for a few more years (particularly because of price lol).

Have all of my PC except the CPU and GPU, which will be E8500 and Asus 4870 1gig

Case: Antec 900
PSU: Corsair 750w
Ram: G.skill 4gig 1066 dual channel
Motherboard: GIGABYTE GA-EP45-UD3P
DVD: LG SATA 22x DVD/CD Burner
Additional 120mm fan for the side window

Will hopefully be able to afford CPU and GPU soon + 3rd party Heatsink/fan for CPU
