Couldn’t the GI Jane joke also be interpreted as a badass look? I don’t exactly remember the first movie but lead was Demi Moore in her prime.
I don’t see much offense on Rock’s side.

I mean I don't think the joke was that offensive but he was obviously referring to the hair..

I would be super ok with it after 4 years and take that joke as a compliment. I guess Jada didn’t, and there is a good reason why they say never joke about tastes and appearances.

Nah man, not saying Chris is wrong here. Its just that some people simply don't have the right mentality to handle jokes in a mature way, and on them, certain types of jokes (about appearance especially) will get you in trouble. You can't reason with them. They'll get offended (over trivial shit usually) and their so called pride will end up reacting in an immature way.

Chris wasn't wrong, he was just unfortunate. Will thinks his reaction was about pride but its just pure insecurity.

I actually admired the way Chris handled the situation and his overall composure. Not hitting back? Check. Not escalating the issue in front of Will's wife? Check.

Will has put his entire personal life on social media these Pat few years. His journey with weight loss was a mini documentary on YouTube, infidelity special with Jada and his interaction with his kids.

He has gotten back lash from lots of people. Not just the media. And well he’s tired of all the “negativity”. Even though it’s self induced, since he posted all of this stuff that should be dealt with behind closed doors.

Was the joke in poor taste. Sure. Did it warrant a slap in the open. No. Just continues to show Will needs help from within.
