I remember that series. I thought it was pretty good. It wouldn't translate well into a show though imo.

Stephanie Hsu def deserved supporting actress over Jamie Lee Curtis, but, that was apparently her first Oscar which seems crazy to me.
Edit: wasn't even nominated for A Fish Called Wanda in what looks to be a decentish lineup in 89. Jodie Foster won that year for her, probably, 3rd best role (which was still great in The Accused).
