First episode of Reboot's new restoration was uploaded a month ago, which they upscaled to 1080p from the D-1 master tape's original PAL renders.

Hoping the rest of the archive they found is intact, so there can be a proper release of this series on bluray hopefully next year. This looks vastly cleaner than that shoddy DVD set released over a decade ago, or any of the fan attempts at AI upscaling the original broadcasts.



I've no idea how many Canucks we have on BG here or how widespread this show was outside of Canada, but everyone I knew watched it when it was on the air back in the 90s.

Remember loving that show, one of the few I got to finish as a child before I needed the high seas to watch shows. Glad they're doing the work to update it.

Man, I loved Reboot way back in the day (northeast US). Broke my heart when I heard they were doing some live-action bastardization a while back. Glad to see the show getting a proper modernization.

Anyone watching Secret Level on Amazon? It's absolutely fucking amazing. I'm blown away, honestly. Idris Elba, Arnold, grim post-apocalyptic Pac Man? Sign me the fuck up. Can't wait for the 2nd half of the shows to drop.
