Well, the joke there is that everyone remembers about 5 seasons of SNL as "the good seasons" and it maps roughly to the time when they were the right age demographic to enjoy SNL.
I don't have 3 hours to watch anything at the moment and SNL is so far down my list of things to catch up on that, factoring in future content, realistically I will never watch it.
Most SNL is just not that great, it's just the nature of having to throw together a broadcast in a single week and then do it live.
The highs are fantastic (the Beavis and Butthead skit from last year is one of the funniest things I've seen in my life) but you can just get those from a YouTube recap. I don't think most people want to dedicate the time it takes to watch an entire episode in the hope you get a moment like that for a couple minutes.
Yeahhh the time commitment is too much for such a mid show. The best skits are on social media so w/e back to anime

Yeah I agree that nobody got time for that. I'll get the good parts on YouTube or TikTok. I've enjoyed SNL since the early 90s and I never thought it sucked
I usually just watch some of the cold opens and the Weekend Updates
The SNL formula is a relic of pre-social media and cable. Then it evolved into Comedy Central filling in the niche of adult comedy and eventually streaming of live comedy show recordings.
Will SNL be on the air in 20+ years? I doubt it. It will go the way of Mad TV and In Living Color if there's no money to be made.
SNL is probably gonna be around longer than any of us. The format was already well suited to being broken down into easily digestible clips for social media which can be monetized, and it's cheap to produce.
It's also still to this day a good advertising platform for people with new movies/music coming out
I enjoy Colin and Che swapping jokes once or twice a year
That is probably the end of good Bond movies.
No.
The Moore era existed, and it will probably not be that bad again.
Ya I mean it's probably gonna fluctuate as usual
It's going to be the oversaturation of IP that will be the issue. They're gonna Star Wars/Marvel it.
Q series.
Bond Girl series.
Origin story movie or miniseries.
Personally I think Jeff Bezos wants to be James Bond. Hence why he paid so much.
Lets see what AI thinks it would look like...lol
