I didn't even have to post anything in this topic for it to say practically everything that needed to be said. You're right Day, the timeliness of this topic is truly uncanny.

Naturally, and predictably given my arguments on BG in the past, I am fully in support of this as well.

If California's economy is so bad, they should stop wasting money by advertising their state at 12:30 in the morning on cable in Pennsylvania.

I always wondered why govn't's never legalized this stuff and then taxed the hell outta it...Like they do with booze/cigarettes/gas up here in canada. $25 bucks for a case of beer....I drive 45 minutes across the border and get the same stuff for $10 bucks AND I dont have to look at the stupid french labeling.

A legal producer can make weed cheaper, safer, and more consistent than a dealer can. There would be no competition.
Put the dealers out of work in the state, reduce crime. Gangs loose 90% of their funding. Nice.

I doubt 90% of their funding come from pot, or even drugs in general.

...I may be exaggerating a bit, but it certainly would help out.
I don't smoke or do any drugs, even though I have been popping the percosets from my surgery like they were Nerds candy, but I was thinking almost the same thing. Probably a great idea for our economy. It will create THOUSANDS of jobs, as well give americans something that they will put a lot of money into.

edit.... PLEASE OH GOD NEW JERSEY PLEASE

Pot money is shit for the effort, the real money's in the other stuff. Pot basically only manages to keep up a black market due to the raw quantity of people providing demand.

I always argued that the money the government puts into locking up people for weed possession etc is truly and utterly retarded. I support this as well. I've never smoked it before and maybe I'll try it sometime if it ever gets legalized, but I can't imagine legalizing it being such a bad thing, especially considering everyone here seems in agreement that potheads are completely harmless XD

Let's say you have shitty connections and get schwag for $25 a quarter. That's ~7 grams.

Now let's say you have shitty connections and get coke for $25 a quarter... That's a quarter gram, not a quarter ounce.

    See the difference here?

Depends on what you're looking for.
I don't what you mean by "bag" but I'm going to assume you mean 1 gram or blunt.

Reg goes for the $5 a blunt usually. Some 10 or midgrade or 89 depending on what your area calls it can go for $10 or a bit more if its really dank. And then you have your high grade, exotic, or whatever else term you may hear is usually your higher up prices which could range from about $20 to high up as maybe $75, haven't seen or heard of anything higher.

Or you could be talking about a Quarter ounce, usually just noted as a quarter, which is about 7 blunts. I can get a quarter of some reg for about $20. Usually not much profit comes from reg unless you want to bullshit some people and sell it as 10 which happens quite often. For some mid most people get them for maybe $50 I'd say. Don't know how people get them but with the ring I'm in I get quarters of mid for $20 and usually sell it blunt by blunt and make about $50 profit off of it. But when some highgrade comes through town I'm usually buying some haze for about $30 a quarter, $100 an ounce and then just sell that for about $20-25 a blunt since its scarce to find some straight high grade in my area that isn't laced or fucked with.

i just had some "cheese"? the other day. and some diesel. the cheese definitely tasted different, kinda mild.

i can usually get mids for 35$ a 1/4 but i'm not really tight with anyone so that could improve if i develop some relations.

We need to also reevaluate our prison systems. Why lock someone up for life with no chance at parole and cost ourselves so much money when we can just kill them? It's effectively the same thing. Why lock someone up for 20 years to receive the death penalty only to have them eventually die of natural causes because we didn't get around to killing them fast enough. Why go through so much time and effort to give them "painless" deaths when a couple rounds to the head should do just that.

    That'll save a ton.

Apparently it costs more to kill someone than to keep them alive. Dead prisoners can't create products and work, living prisoners can.

True. And before someone jumps me, I wasn't fully serious about killing people. However I was serious that we do need to reevaluate our prison systems.
