Why does everyone think lip synching is the devil for mainstream performers? (notice the word performers). This isn't the 50s-70s where people at most walked around on stage, these guys are now jumping around and even swinging off the sets now that they have a "headset" prop, and if they weren't lip synching all you'd hear was breathing and panting noises.


They're performers, not singers. They're there for a show, to entertain. There's more real bands and singers out there with real voices, mainstream radio/tv/concerts is not for that.

When your 12 year old niece is at an awards show, and tells you she'd really like to meet one of her peers who may also be receiving awards because she loves their work, and they say "no you're not good enough for 30 seconds of my time," lemme know. I'll fully support your niece's plight.

Second, Radiohead has millions of fucking fans. Anyone as "obsessed" with them as Miley claims to be would know that they (especially Thom) are extremely uncomfortable with the fame/attention they get, as stated above.

Third, Miley had her manager ask Radiohead backstage if she could meet her "idols." Their response was "yeah, we don't really do that."

Agreeing to meet with that retarded bitch of all the people in the world that love their music would be the only dick move they could have done in that situation.

What amazes me is that Katy Perry doesn't choose to lip sync, considering the difference in quality between her actual vocals and her recorded/edited/produced vocals is by far the most extreme of any current mainstream performer.
