edit: i actually found this while looking for an internet link of what i posted in that other thread, and thought it would be interesting to see how people react to it, it really has nothing to do with you, so i'll ask nicely and say please stop derailing the thread.

I think the problem here is that we live in a society where too many people expect that they will have everything handed to them whether they work for it or not. There is this idea of "entitlement" that the general American public has, except nobody can give a good reason why they deserve it or a viable method of getting the things they're "entitled to." They simply see that certain people or groups have more than they do, and bitch and whine incessantly until someone else comes in and plays Robin Hood.

Societal ideals are all well and good, but this is the real world. If you want change, stop fucking whining and actually do something.

I'm pretty sure anyone could sit and write what that blog has written. Poorly written, poor logic, poor everything. I hear more intelligence listening to anne coulter

It's not really fair to criticize the blog so harshly, because we don't really know anything about the poster. What if it's a kid? Like 15-17? In that case, his observation is very acute for that age.

There's no need for personal attacks. If you don't agree with the thread, you don't have to post. If you don't agree with the blog, just say so.
