I'm slowly working towards mine Lish.... although my PUP isnt 75 and I'm not even decided if I'm gonna do Ken or Burt ;x @100/150 Tokens, just missing Gulool Ja Ja's title~ Not really working on the rest atm ._.;
Seriously - anyone without lots of Alex = you are NOT upgrading a mythic. I don´t care for your tokens, amps and whatever titles. Alex or gtfo.
Alex is tons easier to get then the 3 beastking titles since you can buy alex for 3k on most servers? not saying 90mil is easier to get then 3 beastking titles but...can't really get the titles solo >.>;;;

According to the Completed Mythics thread, DA from AM3 appears to work on WS as well. Any confirmation that it stacks with normal DA from gear or /WAR ? Would be awesome if say you could land a 4-hit Ascetic's Fury (DA + AM3)
Ah, but idiocy knows no borders. I'm out of clever facepalm .jpgs so I guess I have to actually spell it out for you. You'll just have to take my word that I'm facepalm'ing irl.Originally Posted by Odin'sLaw
Just because something can be done solo doesn't make it easier. What's more difficult: farming and buying all ancient currency needed for a relic from bazaars, or joining a Dynamis shell that allows you to sponsor? For people with friends and non-infinite sources of gil, the ToAU king titles are infinitely easier to obtain than 30,000 Alex. A drop that there are only probably <200,000 of on any given server anyway.
I guess if you were a gilbuyer then everyone would hate you and yeah... getting the titles would be much tougher than spending however much 90mil goes for these days.
Compared to Relic Currency gathering Alex is fierce and hard. I had my Relic currency done from 0 to full in around 5 weeks shouting a lot and a lot of friends supporting me.
But it took 4 months of religious shouting AND every day Salvage (JP shouts, all Alex were mine) to gather up 24000 Alex. I was even lucky to buy a offers of 1600 and 4000 Alex from people who quit upgrading. Also I prolly bought a lot of duped ones when I started.
Alex is and stays the big cockblock on Mythic. Your other stuff will almost magically flow in while you are busy hunting Alex for months. Saying that Titles, 150k tokens, 50 Assaults and 100Amps is almost a Mythic is like saying that you just completed Rank 6 Shadowlord for Dynamis Access is almost Relic
Seems to take priority over /WAR DA from the looks of the data Alma posted; he got more multi-attack rounds from using Destroyers when /WAR for his merit party parse.
20 seconds to songs. Are you serious? I mean thats awsome for lullaby but meh for buffs as most good brds have no problem keeping songs up. I guess it's to balance out Ghorn's awsomeness. Awsome Relic=Shitty Mythic and visa versa(Except blm....lolclaustrum)
Personally i think it would be about even if you started out with
90,000,000
And nothing else done.
Take you about 52 weeks of shitty events, whoring friends, and logging in just to get the other requirements down
and about 52 weeks of just shouting in wg for alex.
Well in regards to the Alexandrites being such a huge roadblock, it was actually poor implementation on SE's part. When the Mythic Quest came out, half of requirements were already fulfilled already by endgame players participating in events prior to the release of the Mythic Quest. SE needed something to add to the quest so that those who were ahead didn't have quick access to the mythic weapons themselves, thus the Assault re-clears, Amps, and the god awful Alex requirements were born.
I get the whole storyline of the Empire wanting you to show your worth by doing all the BS quests and collecting alexandrites, but they could have implemented it in a better way. It's already bad enough that you have to use 3 ZNM triggers, at least reduce the alex count to 5,000 and show some damn progression on the weapons themselves where after completing one part of the quest you start to unlock stats on the weapon.
