Some COR questions

Things I can upgrade in the near future:

@75 Walhalra turban for melee TP
@74(and on Sunday) Corsair's Tricorne +1 for shooting TP
Pal. legs as soon as I get the Mamool Ja Training Grounds points
Suppa when my LS will do another DM so I can switch earrings.

I did the Tricorne +1 because as nice as the Bottles+1 are, I HATE HATE HATE the look of the O.Hat, and I am a bit of a fan of fashion as well as function.

Thoses are what I can switch soon. Also, there is talk of a few people having Nosferatu and Experimental Lamia popa, so I've held off on buying Dusk feet, as they said I could have the Enkidu feet if I wanted. What could I upgrade/sidegrade to? Also, I have Enkidu body/Subligar to use if that means anything.

As for Brutal Earring, I can't get that since I've been a bit of a scrooge with my gil, using most/all of it on bullets, and not buying Ancient Beastcoins for my Brutal. I was using them as I got'em from my Limbus runs. Since I just tossed in my upgrade for the hat and owe my LSmates a few, after I pay them back(and until I get the next COR AF set), I'll be putting those towards the Brutal.

What else can I upgrade at this point, outside of what's mentioned? Currently using Assault tags for gear/rank ups, so Nyzul's not happening anytime soon. Gogo Second Lieutenant!

You can probably use a Fire Staff for ranged TP and ditch the Trailer's. And if you're just shooting for TP, try switching to regular level 22 bullets for regular shots, saves a lot of gil.

As for other gear, if you plan on finishing CoP and ToAU, go for Rajas/Jalzahn's.

As for me, I'd like some Corsair's Bottles! (The word you're looking for is Bottes )

120k? What server are you on? Steel Bullet Pouches are 200k/stack on Midgard. I'm originally RDM but I changed my CoP ring to Rajas for COR. Balrahn's ring is good for Quick Draw I suppose, but I just use omega's/insect.

Err yeah it's about the same here on Diabolos. My bad, I was thinking of something else.

I would love to get a Rajas, but I'm fine without atm. I will switch soon, after I hit 75 and get more gil maybe. And yes, Balrahn's is nice for Q.Draw.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't the 5 AGI from Breeze rings trump the 3 and 2 m.acc on Omega/Insect?

I thought I remembered that it was a 1/1(or damn close to it) ratio for AGI to m.acc for QD accuracy.

Haven't actually seen any testing for m.acc vs agi... does it exist?

It's not conclusive testing but in using cor for Ouryu2 I have ended up with less resists using agi+ rings vs m.acc+ rings based off parsing total damage done to Ouryu.

If you cant afford/get your hands on 2X breeze rings, just use emerald rings. Even if its the placebo effect I seem to get much less resists on mobs using those over my old Omega/Balrahn combo.

I do use the emerald rings also in a Leaden Salute ws build as well as a TA set for my THF, so it doesnt bother me carrying around the extra rings.

No numbers to back it up, but my previously posted QD set gets rarely resisted much, if at all, using Omega/Balrahns's combo.

I'd love to see some real tests done to know for sure, or you know, SE could just tell us how Magic Acc affects QD....

As far as the AGI vs. the MAcc, I haven't formally tested, but I've tried both routes and neither was noticeably better, with capped merits and HQ staves resists are minimal anyways. I have several jobs that use Balrahn's/Omega, but only one that would use AGI rings, so really Breezes aren't currently worth the cash/inventory.

If I were trying to be ideal, I'd take the Breeze for the odd times I do use Salute(read: never since I have to RDM for Dynamis and Slug kills Apollyon).

Other misc notes on the thread since I just realized this wasn't the older thread with the sameish title: 600k for Martial is a bit more pricey, but people pay 3m for Haguns. Martial is the best option, go farm some beechips and silk threads for it if you need to.

I think you'd get the most benefit out of it as a Quick Draw piece TBH, since with the stats you chose it'd be perfect for it. MAB, AGI, and Quick Draw Delay down all in one piece. Whereas the only real optimal piece back then was Denali Body.

It'd be good for WS to, but I'm going to stick with Denali for WS since that's too good of a QD piece to pass up.

Something I was considering about the Cor body piece as I have Dnc that I use just as much on my own free time..

Using Joyeuse (single wield only) on Cor and Azoth+Joyeuse on Dnc, how would the following stack up for TP only body pieces?

[1] Double Att+2% + Weapon Delay -3%

[2] Weapon Delay -3% + Acc+10

[3] Weapon Delay -3% + Att+10

I don't have any use for an Att/Acc piece because I have AF2 body for Dnc and I just use SH+1 to TP in on Cor atm..

So would #1 be worthwhile to use with Joyeuse with a haste build on Cor ( +14% Haste w/ Gear only) while being useful for Dnc as well? Or would using SH+1 on Cor as I do now and Raparee Harness on Dnc be overall more useful?

If current setup is win.. quick draw body piece heeeeere I come!!

This is what I'm going with. Losing 4 agi off of Denali body but for MAB and the QD delay reduction its well worth it.

For Range WS I still plan to use Denali, and Captain Crunch body/Sakdi if I ever end getting and upgrading this for ranged tp body.

Okay, so there are three sets I'm thinking of:

Snapshot +5%

This plus Zha'Go's Barbut:
(DEF: 23 Ranged Accuracy +8
Ranged Attack +8 Enmity -5
Enhances "Snapshot" effect)
makes for a pretty enticing combo...but limited in all likelihood to merits or lesser tier events. This would also be a solid Ranged build for RNG. The quick Draw and MAB+ gives the greatest improvement to soloing as well as HNM...but serves no other purpose (wouldn't be a valid piece on any other job). It looks like you can customize as to how you use and/or plan to use your COR...and whether you'd like to use the piece on other jobs as well.
