nvlddmkm Error Broke my Laptop

I've been having these weird display driver stopped responding and has successfully recovered messages coming up recently and it was really bothering me, then the driver crashes and wont come back on.

Now, my laptop wont even boot up, you press the power button and the thing just gets stuck at the black screen before boot up.

I've been trying to find answers about how to fix it on another computer and the only thing I've found is that Vista does not like hardware changes...

I have a Dell XPS1330 Laptop with Windows Vista 32 bit. Changed the RAM from 1GB to 4GB about 6 months ago and changed my processor from a Intel T7100 to a T8300 in hopes of being able to get more than 3FPS in FFXI...didnt work. For graphics I have a Nvidia GeForce 8400 GS.

Have you wiped your display drivers with driver sweeper in safe mode and then reinstalled them? A lot of the time, that will help it go away. Those nvidia drivers can be stubborn to get rid of and reinstall... driver sweeper does it effectively.

I didnt wipe the old drivers and now i cant really do it because it wont even boot up. So if you can tell me how to wipe the drivers without it starting up then that would be great.

That's your problem; they're all defective.
