http://www.famitsu.com/image/7936/Lb...5XcG43fr2.htmlA handful of Lost Planet 2 screenshots from Famitsu have revealed the game will borrow the stars of two more franchises: Frank West from Dead Rising and the Scaly Knife-Gun Dude from Monster Hunter, the latter being exclusive to the PS3 version of the game. For those of you keeping track, these two join Gears of War's Marcus and Dom (who will only appear in the 360 version), Resident Evil's Wesker, and What's His Face from Lost Planet 2 in the fight against the calamitous, towering Akrid.
Though most of these crossovers seem pretty out of place, we're betting the dude from Monster Hunter will be right at home bringing down monsters the size of football stadiums. That kind of thing is right in his wheelhouse.

I wantttttttt
I got into the first wave of mp demo last week. I enjoyed it but I felt like they should have given us more to play with in the demo. Only one Vs suit, one map and a handful of weapons. The demo got boring fast. But I will definitely be buying this May 11th.
This game is like getting no attention. Which is a bit of a shame.
I'll get it at some point, I still am not really happy about content getting cut to please the other crowd, but knowing capcom, they used that excuse to use it for paid DLC. Either way, hate when companies cut stuff just to suit one crowd.
mmm, lady pirates...
Saw that, saw underboob, preordered in full.
Any reason why I shouldn't get this for Xbox360? The extra characters seem better for that side.
Stores are getting it tomorrow in NYC if you know where to look
From I've read it seems this is basically get nailed for the same reasons Monster Hunter does lol. "Poor controls" bullshit and being too difficult. The similarities continue to grow.
EDIT: Actually I only skimmed the IGN review (something like a 6/10, lol) but I heard from discussion that the same things they brought up are widespread.
EDIT: To be clear there is rarely an acceptable time to say the controls are too clunky (in an action game, anyway). Lost Planet is certainly not one of those times(neither is Monster Hunter). And "weird" or "clunky" doesn't mean unresponsive. Those are two different qualities, the latter actually being an issue.
And I swear, watching a reviewer complain about the lack of quick-saves and checkpoints is really annoying. If save points are only 1 hour apart like I've read in the same interview then this is just silly.
I must agree, i hate when reviewers state, that sh!t,
Hard games i find are more fun, there are few times in modern games where i'll say a game is to hard, most games are easy and can be beat quite fast, with game like this i normaly find its not the controlles or diffuclity thats make it hard but the stuiped camra angels that they give you at sertain situations,
Actually distant save points can be a problem for online co-op. That I come to realize, but the review on IGN never brought this connection up. I guess I am just going to have to wait until I play it.
Any differences between the PS3/360 versions besides additional characters I couldn't care less about?
