Tier 2 Merits for a few jobs

The 4th merit matters (in a zerg) and the 5th doesn't (in a zerg, partially in merits) if you don't have hasso up (which you won't always have).

Remember, there's 2 caps in this respect: 80% hard cap (gear, magic, JA), and 25% JA cap (DB, Hasso). Between those two the 5th DB merit will hardly ever matter, and it's therefore more beneficial to put 1 merit in DS, which will give you a nice HP boost for zergs.

dont think you should bring in db in SP zergs for a drk.........

just saying normal time fighting something, where you /nin and w/o lvl 5 DB

do you always bring dnc if your not 5/5 DB? lol

just a situation where drk/nin is good to have: einherjar pre-boss.....you prolly dont have a dnc either so where do you make up for the 10% in these "NQ situation?"

not to mention an apoc drk prolly cut things up usually w/o SP and not always SJ SAM

btw, im not questioning. im just curious how you make up for that on an apoc drk.

Yea /nin, but only for zergs, and only since they nerfed 2H zergs. :3

Well I guess yes, if you want to zerg with a 2H weapon, don't want to sub SAM or DRG(for some reason), and have less than 22% gear haste, then yes that 4th merit matters...

I just never had to not sub SAM (including Einherjar).
But I guess you're right that last merit should go into DB, for situations where you'd normally go /nin (Einherjar, etc.), but buffing LR's 30s with a 5th merit isn't worth losing Dark seal for imo.

I guess. For a relic drk you can get away with full-timeing hasso more than a non-relic drk.

Still don't know why a relic drk would choose LR effect over SE recast though.

I guess so. Catastrophe has probably spoiled me into being more careless.

As for SE recast, I did have it 5/5 around a year or two ago (who's keeping track ), but switched it to LR effect when I noticed I rarely use SE, and if I do it's not as soon as it's up.
If Im not holding back then Im probably tanking, and it's not practical to use SE in these situations.

i couldnt decide LR effect vs SE recast for my apoc

so i mix lol

will fix to 5 SE when i got time.......i got too many jobs to merit atm
