halo 2 for xp

so... i downloaded halo 2 when it first came out for pc to play, but the windows xp patch wasn't working and i couldn't figure out why

i eventually gave up, but after replaying halo1 again (and beating it on legendary, lol at johnson in the ending) i really want to progress through the storyline so here i am.

rather than random stuff i can google up or search in torrent sites, i figured i'd ask if anyone has a crack or something they've used on windows xp to great success. i'd be obliged if you could let me know where to get ahold of it!


also, i was rechecking the requirements for running halo 2 and found this:
Requires Windows Vista / 2GHz Pentium 4 Class Processor (or x64) / 1GB of RAM / 7GB of hard drive space / Nvidia 6100/ATI x700 video card or above / DVD-ROM drive

if i get ahold of a good, reliable xp crack i could play single np but i look at the video card and am starting to wonder if i can even run this game on my 7yr old pc. my gfx is a nvidia geforce FX 5900, if any pc gurus could tell me something, i'd be greatful.

Upgrade your video card. Even with an XP crack, you'll regret trying to play it.
