RE started sucking after 2. Left the survival horror and transitioned to action'ish...

It doesn't suck, it's just gets ridiculous quite often, what with the poor one liners, the lack of actual scares (the scariest thing i can recall RE having was that part with the dog in the first game and in RE4 when they cut off your head with a chainsaw, which i somehow never manage to get used to), and the really shitty plot. It's a great action game though, and Chris's muscles certainly prove it to you.

Lack of scares is what gets me I guess. Maybe suck is too strong, but it's definitely much different.
