horde leveling past 77

Grizzly hills for jame's guide only goes 75-77 anyone know of any guides that go beyond it?

77 go to the flight master area in dalaran, should be a quest there that flies you to sholazar basin. Do as much as you can there, then go back to dalaran around 78-79 and talk to the other quest giver near the flight npc to get flown to orgrim's hammer in icecrown. quest there till 80, go storm peaks if you can't get enough xp in icecrown, but be sure you finish it; youll want the ebon blade and argent dawn rep from icecrown.

Download the carbonite addon. it'll help you level nice and quick. No need for guides.

A levelling guide is not about 'easy' it's about 'fast.' A character taken from 70-80 with levelling guides + finishing loremaster of Northrend in Icecrown will have 8000 gold, non-gathering profession, non-enchanter. If you are a gatherer or can disenchant quest and incidental greens you will push 13-15k easily. I don't think that's anything to laugh at, personally.

Not going to argue, I will probably use a guide for any subsequent characters that I take to 80. I just think it's more fun to potter along first time around.

I like my own personal "guide, which even got my druid to 80 within 2 rl weeks from lv1 without refer a friend/rested exp...!

although from 70->80 its basically...
(well druid and dk started Lv 68 but it ends up about the same)
Borean -> get all quests for nexus, do nexus once (should be lv 71-72 before finishing)
Howling fjord -> get all quests for utgar keep -> should be lv 75-76

Side note, lv 74 get the quests done in grizzly hills to do Drak'thoran, do the PVP dailies (like 4 at bluesong lake?, 1 in the middle of the river, 3-4 down at the camp at the end of the river, don't waste time trying to do the missile one if its not available sitting on that island for 30min)

By doing those dailies once + the questline for all the quests in drak'thoran keep + the ones from the npc's near the end of the questline should be about 1 more lvl.

Lv75-76 Dragonblight is started, lv77 by time you finish agmar hammer/do the quests for those 2 spider instances once -> finish dragonblight lv 78-79 with epic flying

Do not do any instances after drak'thoran/spider place, except gun'drak, it has 2 nice easy to pickup ones near it.

BY the time you get to venomspire you "should have lv77, this would make lvling insanely fast to 78, near 79 when you finish dragonblight.

Don't forget to do the grizzly hill dailies all the while, should hit lv80 by time you start grizzly hills.

This may not work for you, you may not know where every quest is... but if you do, its worked for me, and i have gotten lv80 before I finished dragonblight (or even get to it if I have rested exp lv 70 to start)

The above is what I did on druid, which had very low to nonexistent rested exp the entire time, and hit lv 1->80 within 2 rl weeks (this is with keeping 100% raid attendance, full clear naxx's OS, malygos).

May not work for everyone, but i've done it on 7 Lv70->80 characters and works for me like clockwork

I lvl'd off Sons of Hodir and Knights of the Ebon blade quests/dailies from 77-80.

Theirs 2 things with my guide I forgot to mention maybe... that sorta defeats this thinking...!

1. icecrown/stormpeaks is designed for a flying mount, so quests/quest objectives are a decent distance away.

2. Quests in those areas are like 21,500 22,500 exp

3. Dragonblight (like my guide mentions being lv77 at) is designed for land mounts, if you have epic flying, the exp goes obscenely fast (think I hit about 700,000 exp an hour at some point without rested exp) especially at the venomspire quests.

4. Dragonblight quests are 20,500 exp at lv 80, same for grizzly hills (which is made for land mounts also)
