Now we are getting somewhere with the update notices ^^

money on it takes Jettons/SomeOddNewCurrencyCrap to use. :O
Sure I think it's tailored towards lower level players. I don't think you find many of those around on BG though. I was more sarcasticly referring to the end-game player who would dream about his kraken club being augmentable to hit "1-8 times" 2 to 3 times. Or more "realisticly" enhanced Souleater and +HP on his KC.
The other thing to realize is that this will cause these items not to be able to be sold on the AH unless they severely expand the capabilities of it. Probably still will be able to sell through bazaar though.
The reason I said that was because in PSO they implemented something similar with Photon Spheres xD so I expect there to be a cost associated with placing certain enhancements, possibly more expensive = better enhancement, or higher level = more expensive. Then again, it could be absolutely free and awesome, heh. Ooo, speculation: enhancements will require items occasionally. Finally a use for the Doll Gizmo I've been saving for ages. >_>
If this includes +Haste% it's gonna be great.![]()
So this is why this update was delayed lol So much to do now...geez. April is going to feel like an entire new start the way it's going.
Very much excited :D
This could be a huge win, or it could be a massive fail. Given SE's track record, I am gonna have to go with fail.
Like Level sync & FoV were a massive fail, this will be a huge letdown too.
Please let bard able make Wind skill cape or magic acc
Augmented items won't be tradable or sellable... So if there's no way to remove the augment from it, that means there will be less of them to be resold when someone don't use them anymore. Hmmm I hope it's gonna be good for crafting
Whatever happened to PS2 limitations?
The main thing I have to wonder about with this is that hasn't SE said that there are only so many "slots" for stats to be added to on a given piece of armor? IE, the reason they had to drop things off of some AF+1 in order to add new stats to them?
Given that, I'd have to assume that the more stat-laden pieces will be limited, or unable to be upgraded. It'll be a pleasant surprise if that's not the case, but it just seems unlikely.
I expect this to only function on gear missing the RARE and/or EX flag.
Watch it take Alexandrites.
WOW is not the first game that introduce imbued items lol
in a galaxy far far away, some other games started it ages ago and from my experience, those are the time those extremely useful items become obselete and imbue is the only way to go (anyone that played Asheron's Call will know)
i hope FFXI dont turn out that way tho XD
Well, if the stats on that low level gear is any indication, then it might just be that way.
It looks like it might be a situation like signed gear. When you have it the signature stays, but if you put it on the AH it disappears. I wouldn't be surprised if the same thing happens if you trade it or something like that.
