To add to this wonderful post:

it has to catch my eye, then fit my butt(/hips/legs.) Shirts that fit my body too~

also, aeri tells me that I wear blouses. Well, if the men's section carries blouses, you can bet your ass i'll buy some pretty manblouses (*'-')

i love white shirts, need more~

i wear mostly pretty button-up, long sleeve shirts, jeans, and these lovely, worn-out brown bowling-type shoes. other times i wear dressy man-clothes :D

I once figured out how much of each brand I had and Nautica was almost as much as all others combined. I think it is mostly because their stuff is by far the most durable brand I have worn. (stuff never wears out, so it stays in the rotation) I have multiple shirts from them that are 11 years old that I still wear because they still look like new.

    Normal Clothing Trends:
    Late 90s: Express/Nautica
    Early 00s: J Crew/Nautica
    Late 00s: Lacoste/Ralph Lauren/Nautica

    Athletic Clothing:
Nike Basketball Shorts (have like 25 pairs)
    Under Armour T-Shirts

I tend to stick to brands that are a non-trendy type that have looked the same for many years.

Brands I quit wearing due to poor durability:
    Old Navy
    American Eagle

    Brands I never really liked:
    A&F

Express and J Crew left town so now I can't go to their stores in person anymore. It sucks too because I'm one of those people that usually is between sizes and it seems like half the brands make things for people with a bigger waist than shoulders. (exaggerating, but it still is annoying) Therefore, I usually want to try stuff on first.

For shirts I love the Stafford button up shirts sold at JC Pennys. I own about 15 different colors/styles of them because they're the only button up shirts that I've found that are made well, are cheap, and that never wrinkle. It's nice having a shirt that I can pull out of the dryer, hand up, and never have to worry about ironing.

For jeans I'm a fan of Low Boot Cut Levi's. They fit really well and they look nice with dress shoes, too.

Alright, time for a more specific question. I really like this Orisue hoodie I found on this Australian site:

    http://www.ydmailinglist.com/images/...ake-hoodie.jpg

The problem is, it's a Fall 2007 release and is apparently only available on that site, which doesn't have any of the size I want in stock.

Anyone know of any nice hoodies I can order with a similar hood style and fit? Most of the A&F/Hollister/AE hoodies I know of are too bulky and the hoods are too small and/or rigid. This has been bugging me for a while, because I know Orisue isn't the only brand that makes this type of hoodie, but I just can't think of any places that DO have that style. I don't really care about the Spiderman look or the color, really; any hoodie with that FIT, specifically, would be good to take a look at.

Closet is full of Blac Label shirts and jeans with some Ed hardy shirts. Gonna find the occasional Evisu, Red Monkey, LRG, Billionare Boy's Club, and some Artful Dodger blazers.

Urban stuff is basically all I wear now, because I'm surrounded by retailers that all carry it.

Blac Label, LRG, and Ed Hardy.

I get my clothes for free at the place I work, so I wear whatever we sell. Mostly Ezekiel, Carhartt, Ipath and Zoo York, with a bit of Eckö if I can find something that looks nice. Why spend money on other clothes when I can get them for free.

relevant to the topic, where might one find non-ugly fitted men's spring jackets for under $60? it is at that point here in ontario where it is too warm for my winter coat, yet still too cold for just a sweater.

I never gave a shit about name brands... ever. My parents took me clothes shopping for middle school and saw how expensive stuff was and started shopping at Target. Eventually I had to get a job if I wanted to wear name brand shit, but after learning the value of a dollar I stopped caring if I had someone's name on my threads. Kids at school would try to give me shit about being poor, but I asked them who pays for their shit everyone shut the fuck up. Not to mention people got their asses beat for their designer jackets/clothes/shoes so I wound up getting the last laugh.
Now I shop at Champs and Foot Locker since they have some nice stuff on sale. I even found a leather jacket that was ~$200 and got it on sale for $9.99 on labor day. My favorite thing to do is buy out of season stuff for up to 90% off and wear it for the next year. As far as suits and business casual goes, I buy Covington from Sears since they come in big and tall sizes and look good despite being moderately priced.

check macys.com also if you have TJ max or marshall or burlington coat factory around you, they carry a lot of urban clothing like that.
