Old version has 18x3 G keys and is cooler looking. New version is ass-ugly orange and only has 6x3 keys.
old G15 > G11 > new G15

I personally like the orange one better.
xD alright so my dad came home today and told me I owed him 85 bucks. I gave it to him and he gave me G15 that he went out and bought for me. I'm gonna mail in the rebate form tomorrow. I've been playing with it though and I must say that I'm actually quite happy with it with what little time I've had with it. It is the newer one but it's still quite nice. The keystrokes are quite and the keys are "soft" I guess you could say. The LCD has some pretty nifty stuff, albeit some that I don't need, but I still quite like having it. All in all I really think that for the price this was a great buy for me! thanks for all the input guys!
I've got a G15 1st revision (blue) that I've been using for about two years. It's fairly dirty, but works well, I really enjoy it.
I've also got a Dell clicky that I like, but it's no gaming keyboard.
The G15 2nd revision is sorta meh, you love it or hate it. The 1st revision is where it's at. Or the G11, it's good too.
As for the LCD, you can write your own apps for it. I believe the program is LCD Monitor 2.0 (or whatever version it is now)
Just won a G15 on ebay for $34+shipping, too bad it's a 2nd gen one really want to get my hands on a first gen ; ;
I've put off getting a Logitech G15(or whatever number is the best now) for quite awhile, can't bring myself to pay that much for a keyboard ; ; I'm looking into getting one of their epic Mouse's though.
I found it, but turns out its a bit different than what I'd need. I need compiled *.exe applets to use with the logitech LCD manager, whereas LCDStudio just makes xds files that it's own program interprets.
I found the logitech SDK for it, and can use C++ to compile applets for it using their API. I wonder why the other LCD keyboards don't do it that way, and instead require a special LCDStudio program to display stuff. Too bad they don't have a compile option to convert their xds files to the kind of exe I need for my keyboard.
Got a first gen G15 off of eBay for 77$ shipped, of course only one asshole bidding against me or it would have been way cheaper. That's about what they all sell for though on there it seems whereas a 2nd gen is usually 50$ shipped. Selling the 2nd gen I got a couple days ago off eBay to my cousin when it comes in the mail.
Does anyone know where I could track down a Logitech G15 Rev 1?
I've been checking everywhere and have had zero luck. For instance, the only ones I can find on eBay have foreign keys for shift/tab/etc.
Thanks much for the help.
I see them on ebay all the time, one for sale by someone 20mins from my house, it had a buy it now for 50$ but think it's over now.
Gen 1 G15 and G9 do not fit together on my keyboard tray.. I don't know what to do!
