Oh I god I'll do this tonight on my connection just for laughs. DSL all up in the mountains through a wireless router. 14.4k modems were faster I think.

i live in northern VA; cox isn't available everywhere up here. the last apartments i was in were wired for comcast onry and now i live on quantico MCB, and they've got an exclusive deal with verizon. FiOS isn't flawless, but it's such an improvement over comcast i can't even begin to sing its praises enough. not to mention my internet costs dropped from ~$80 (where they were actually charging us more for "speed upgrades," whatever the fuck that means) to $40 for a no-bullshit internet connection.

well the spirituality part sounds a little homo for my tastes, but if there's free or reduced-cost drugs, i'm on board. usually ideas are 100,000% better under the influence of intoxicating substances anyway. actually that may explain a lot about skiing, considering how many people are under the influence of prescription drugs. probably not too hard to feel positive about even the shittiest ideas when you've got a zoloft/xanax/adderall cocktail keeping you afloat in that sea of privleged people despair.
