At the moment, I'm using an on-screen keyboard. My h, g, x, c, m and v keys aren't working, as well as some punctuation. I'm on a laptop with a standard ps/2 keyboard set to English UK. Does anybody have any idea as to what I can do to fix it?

My computer > system properties > Device Manager > Keyboard > Disable > Re-enable.
I'm sorry, but this is the absolute best title to a thread I have read in a long time. Amazing.

if its a laptop, its cheaper to just replace the keyboard. Go to ebay, type in your laptop model followed by keyboard and go from there. It should not cost more than 20 dollars. Look online to see how to replace the keyboard, chances are there is a nice tutorial with pictures on how to do it. Dell and HP make it very easy to replace a keyboard, gateway etc as well.
