It's organic chem. If you can't draw out a mechanism, what the fuck are you doing in the class?

Heaven forbid that you be asked to demonstrate your understanding of your subject.
me and my friend zigzagged our english final freshman yr high school, i went a-d he went d-a and he got a B and i got a D. i wanted to go d-a but he already filled in the first 4
edit: the 2 written essay questions were the only things that saved me, but he seriously got a B only because he zigzagged d-a. bullshit.
We haven't gotten to mechanisms yet, but uh yeah the only reason they dont give anything other than MC exams for the lecture part is mostly because of class size and the amount of time limit were given in the first place ( 35 questions within 50 minutes ). I guess you can say we write out our work on the scrap sheet to get our answers anyway, its just not counted as partial credit if your answer comes out wrong in the first place.
However our chem classes are usually broken up into different segments which has a recitation and lab. Recitation we get weekly quizzes and that we DO have to write out answers with explanations and show all our work. She gets fucked on every week's quiz so go figure.
If only I got 50 minutes for 25 questions.
I cheated so fucking much in college holy shit.
Is it true when they say your first guess is probably more correct than changing it to a different answer?!
I always go with my gut.
What kind of shitty-ass college are you going to where OChem has multiple choice tests?
The same easy ass school I went too lol
St.johns uni, atleast for us pharmacy students we basically jump from half of general chem to orgo within freshman year. The exams are actually still pretty hard regardless, questions are all conceptual so wild guessing wrong answer choices still gives you a plain zero as having to explain them in a written format. If you know your shit, would do well on either format.
In our 5th year, I hear Biochem is what flushes out the weak most.
5 years wut
I'm guessing it's direct entry?
Besides, organic chem in freshman year is pretty standard.
Pharmacy is 6 years here, its only open to incoming freshman but they do take some transfer students if they have seats usually available. My school just loves to rip people off their money, before drifting away from the topic. The chick tells me "All i have to do is the same thing I did for this exam on the next one and I'm set." Some nerve, revenge must be sweet.
Change your surname by deed poll and watch her squirm.
The real solution here is to confront her, tell her you know she copied from you, and that you will be covering yourself on the final.
Then remind her that she NEEDs to do well on the final or she's screwed.
Tell her, however, that you are not a cruel man. You don't want her to have to repeat the course and have a black mark on her transcript forever. Tell her this, and allow her to persuade you to change your mind. What's in it for you? Why should you let her benefit from all your hard work that stresses you out so much?
Ah, but if only she could relieve some of that stress for you. After all, you're busting your ass just so she can pass the class. It's her duty to help you relax; the least she could do.
If you're suave enough, and work your angle just right, you could turn the situation around in your favor. Do it! And POIDH us later.
DARWINISM
copy off of her paper next time
