BLMs with an extra 10 inventory are going to be able to mess around with some interesting gearsets. I'm thinking this might be the best body piece (with fast cast and Macc) for things like blink/SS(given your at the mnd cap), stun, exc.

I'm debating between Fast Cast and Enmity+5 or Accuracy+10 Enmity+5...

This, but leaning towards Fast Cast/Enm +5, as I can always pop Dorado, but can't eat food to get more fast cast, can I?

or keep Penance and get 2 useful BP stats for the price of 1!

IMO, replacing a penance robe with this just so you can full time it is like selling off a useful BP stat for the price of a Penance Robe. Even if you don't have penance, I just don't think I'd get the -2 perp unless you do a ton of soloing. With siphon, perp cost just seems less and less.

ya i have been working on a wind blade set up, adding merits into magic acc/mab. the magic BPs just seem to do more DoT for me. I also never run out of mp if i have a rdm+bard i get mp back when leaving her out so ya, this is with YY robe too. i do not even see the need for a penance rob i cant find a time i would use it outside soloing? but thats carby time most of the time if the fight would last more then 3min.

i might make it into a MaB/Magic acc once i get m body (someday lol)

who knows maybe this will change when we get our new pets(...right)

I like to solo a lot with my smn, so -2 perp is great for me. I have 5/5 merits on Wind Blade and 5/5 on Magic Att, 7 magic acc/att could be very good too but your avatar will have better DoT with DA+crit.

For tanking on nin: fast cast and emnity+5

No opinion on the uses for the ranged jobs since im not experienced with them.
from what I gather mirke is the set to go for if your gear is already decent since the other peices are weaker than AH stuff overall with the better combinations being weaker than a ZNM body.

I wouldn't get your hopes up too high for -5% recast time with the fast cast effect on these bodies. I presume that it's going to be -5% casting time and -2.5% recast time like other existing pieces of gear with this kind of fast cast effect. Regardless, this is the closest pld can get to having a body with any form of haste on it and there are countless ways to get +10 acc.

For brd, seems like it would be a pretty darn good body (if your chr is up to snuff already) if you add +4 MAcc and +5% Fast Cast.

I'd like to hear some debate on how the Fast Cast bonus would stack up against Gomlek and it's -10% Song Casting Time. Seems like if the mage piece was augmented correctly it could be a mini-manteel, more so than the Gomlek.
