Having to do DTK, HoS and OK everyday before the random dungeon finder even considers giving me Oculus. Stupid mount needs to drop already.

Yeah so I don't get how to do the whole "Don't get hit" thing for On a Boat. I tried the general principle just to get the hang of it but still ususally got to 5-9 stacks of BF in the span of one mage.
getting oculus as daily random, windows 7 deciding OMG MINOR UPDATE RESTART NAO right after mage-lord urom, and the pricks kill eregos like 1 sec before i got back in. no bag for me! ofc that would have had a drake in it.
If you're horde, staircase to staircase with the rocket pack.
If you're ally, bottoms of the U.
and
it definitely doesn't. I have the achieve on every char I've stepped into ICC on.
Also have "made a mess" on 10/25 on both mage and pally from just letting first mark die... cannon is pointless imo, you give him a bunch of bp while you're running over there which defeats the purpose. If you just let the person die it's 2.5% hp in exchange for no bp from the first mark, totally worth it imo.
You should be able to do it with those by just jumping wider, and using the actual physics to make him go up and down. (i.e. top of stairs on one side, bottom on the other)
But the other end should be easier I guess. Rocket up to roof and jump down, he should just run back and forth up and down the stairs.
I'll have to try top to bottom, I was going stair to stair figuring it would force him to walk around them.
I've taken to begging people to run away from the ghoul explosion in H ToC and they still fuck it up consistently (or, more often, they're a retarded Death Knight who doesn't give a shit).
If you have a shaman or a
player with a pet, I'm pretty sure if those get hit it loses the achv.
I'm betting that pets affect it, sure, but even when I ask, people simply do not move away. I admit that Desecration makes it a little harder in phase two, but it's not that hard. Maybe I'll just try to convince some guildies to do it or something, but I do the instance every day for Champion's Seals.
To pug "I've had worse," just kite. Constantly. Just always make sure the mobs stick to you aggro-wise, and you pull the boss far enough away for people not to get hit from the exploding ones.
alternatively, have dps that are aoe-capable and just kill the ghouls before they explode, and shackling a lone one helps too.
Kiting is the more reliable strategy, mostly because at that point only people stupid about Desecration will fuck you up. Straight-tanking/AoEing the adds is two more variables I'd rather avoid wth PUGs.
Nearly forgot. Heroic Random Nexus today

I'm the rogue, #2 is the tank who came in after the first tank abandoned the group when we wiped to trash after Telestra. #3 is our friend the mage up there. #4 is the first tank. #5 was THIS THING.
Seems a high percentage of my crossrealm bads come from Nagrand. What the fuck is going on with that realm?
idk, the way i got it was just sheer luck and people paying attention.
...well, until the end, when we killed phase 3/looted and then the one shackled ghoul kind of ate the priest after the tank ran out and i watched enthusiastically
wiping to marrowgar 6 times in a row with FOUR HEALERS because people can't fucking avoid a bright blue fucking flame.
Have everyone except hunters stack right on his ass in the hitbox circle thing. Flame can't touch you there.
