Hate my battle group for PvP. I switched from Hoarde to Ally for a few friends, and hoarde suck it up in Wintergrasp on Trollbane, but apparently rock in the PvP instances. I still have yet to win a WSG, AV, AB, EoTS, or the other two new ones since I swapped.

What, you need mana you say? Look at the size of this pull, now, you "need" mana!
If you want me to slow down, you have a better chance asking me to pull faster. I generally do the opposite of what I am asked, unless there is no way to "prove my point".

I can't say I never wiped my group (fuck up happens) but healer mana is rarely/never at cause. I can understand that it is stressful (no one trust pug), but I wouldn't do it in the first place if I knew it was risky.


Healer arent my pet peeves though, it's the fucking "AFK BEER" "AFK SMOKE" that kill me. That and when the 4 members are still near the entrance after I soloed the first 2 pulls already (happen in pit of saron the other days).

Tanks that rush ahead when I tell them to stop so I can get a little mana end up dead. I honestly don't care if it wipes the entire group, if I ask something I expect it to be answered. So long as I ask it in a polite way and don't say "hey fagtank fucking stop for a second you assfag". The afkers are annoying however, I like the ones that go afk to eat fucking dinner in the middle of a H-HoR.

Oh I had a nice random (normal) dungeon on my mage alt. Entered Drak'Tharon with a guildy on prot warrior and me on deep frost mage. Everyone inside and seemingly ready so the tank goes to town on the first group while I start my 1-button rotation of blizzard <3. Suddenly the healer (resto druid) runs past the tank and I figured he felt it was too slow and went to pull the next group when instead he runs right through it and keeps running dying not soon after. With a dead healer we patch up the tank with some conjured pies and bandages so we can go get him. When we get to him and res him he doesn't accept, does nothing at all. Since it was late anyway we couldn't vote kick him out we just disbanded. Such a weird experience.

Which just means that, as a healer, I can let my tank die if he isn't paying attention to the rest of the raid and not care whether or not they vote-kick me, because unless my cooldown is still running for re-queue, I'll get an invite in 15 seconds.

We recognize that many plate tanks are making their gear choices based on the amount of armor they’re provided, as this is currently the most preferred stat. In order to make the tier-10 plate tanking sets more desirable, we will be adjusting the stats on the gloves and chest pieces in order to inflate the amount of armor they provide in the next minor patch. This will apply to all item levels of the tier-10 death knight, warrior, and paladin tanking gloves and chest pieces.

Similar items crafted or purchased with Emblems of Frost will continue to be very good and will compare favorably to all but the Heroic difficulty boss loot, so you shouldn't despair if you recently acquired any of those.

Fucking stupid shit, changes my whole setup and makes the 60 badges and 400g of gems/enchants worthless as soon as I... get badges again...

So, Wednesday nights are my guild's "progression" night. Last night one of our officers who's been MIA due to being pussy-whipped was on to raid.

We were a little slow to start, as people were wrapping up eating dinner real quick and getting last minute gems and enchants before we started, and the whole time this guy is like "c'mon c'mon lets hurry up and start and blow through this."

Myself, my boyfriend (fellow officer), and the GM were all like, hi, this is progression. Not ToC which we can do 1-handed blindfolded.

So we start and we went along pretty well, 1-shotting Marrowgar, and Deathwhisper. On the way to the gunship, we killed some of the undead to get one guy like, 75 rep so he could upgrade his ring before the encounter, and the whole time pussy-whipped guy is bitching that his girlfriend was going to be there soon, we needed to hurry.

We had some stupidity on the first gunship attempt, as neither of our tanks had their jet-packs equipped. While we were in the process of getting ready for attempt #2, pussy guy's gf comes over. And hear's us (okay me) making whip noises and whatnot at him over vent.

As soon as we clear the gunship, he bounces and logs to go on his date or whatever. Now we're at Saurfang, which is where we wanted to get to try and plug away because we've yet to get past him. Only now, we're in front of him, with 9 people, and not wanting to get someone saved to an instance that will prolly be fail.

So yeah, this douche totally fucked over our progression night. I know he's an officer and whatever, but he's barely been on much (the last 2 times we've done ICC, he hasn't been online). We only raid 1 night a week, so asking people to be available for the duration for *one* night isn't obscene... yet he knew he couldn't stay the whole time, and dicked over the group as a whole by coming along anyway.

I'm just venting, I'm actually really annoyed. Because had he stuck around we may have actually gotten past Saurfang last night. -_-

Sounds like really good ammunition for a srs bzns conversation with the GM about removing this guy from his officer position.

You know, if you have geared people and a Disc Priest, you actually probably could take down Saurfang with 9 people. It's pretty damned broken how effective Power Word: Shield is in 10-man (it's kinda dubious in 25, but doesn't hurt to have).

Only raiding once a week... that sounds like all the guilds I've joined. They claim to have more raid days, but that somehow never pans out. I've given up. I guess I'll just PUG my way through ICC (meaning: I'll never see the Lich King).

We get more and more attempts, and eventually a zone wide buff that will probably make normal mode ICC about on par with normal mode ToC in terms of difficulty.

Can you change your ashen ring at will? If I join a ICC on ret, could I just take a dps ring, and change it back to prot next time I'm tanking, or there is a restriction?
