For god's sake, how hard is it to move on BQ. One fucking healer fucked us over three times (once with a 200k enrage wipe, FUCK) because he can't be bothered to move in on pact and/or stay out of the fucking middle area to keep it clear of shadows.

Since it's the complaint thread, I just need to whine a bit.

I'm really getting tired of my server. Unlike so many of the fuckers on Mal'ganis, I've actually been here since I created my Priest four years ago. I'm not one of these shit-eating little transfers that came here hoping Elitist Jerks or whomever would just love to recruit a couple of scrubs with less skill and coordination than a pee-wee tee-ball player who got benched last season. I just came here because this is where my friends chose to go. I think it was because they thought Goon Squad would be a good thing, since they're generally at the top of their game in any other MMO, but that's definitely not the case on Mal'ganis.

Either way, I've been here and, though I really lack ties, I'm not enthused at the idea of dropping $50 to transfer my two 80s to a different server just to get away from the bullshit. Free transfers to a dead realm are not really a good solution, either, though had I known Riot Act was leaving, I might have followed them in hopes that Anetheron would be bolstered by their presence.

A couple days ago, I was tanking on my Warrior and pulled a little too ambitiously for both my avoidance and the healer's mana. We survived, but it was messy and I apologized after. People expressed shock that someone with -Mal'ganis after his name would be, you know, tolerable. I had an idea of what they meant, since I've heard a lot of hate for my server, but today really spelled it out. Joined H ToC and two people were also from the server. They spent the entire time shit-talking everyone, often without reason or purpose, completely disregarded basic concepts like "Assist the tank," and had me slamming on the vote-kick command for about 10 solid minutes. Of course, I couldn't get rid of them because of the timer. They got added to my massive ignore list, at any rate, but in spite of their gear, they played like noobs, acted like asses, and made me embarrassed to be on the same server.

To compound the problem, I cannot seem to find a guild worth a damn. I really only want a 10-man guild to see content with and to have someone to talk to, since all my RL friends are still playing FFXI (I probably would be, too, but leading a Salvage 'shell burned me the fuck out). I could tolerate a 25-man guild, but my PC is less powerful than I'd like and I tend to avoid 25s as a result. I certainly don't expect to get into the top guilds, but it has proved impossible to find a new guild that has officers logging in more than once a week and that can actually get past Lord Marrowgar. Is it really so hard to find 10 people capable of following directions and who can act like adults rather than meth-addicted 12-year-olds? I've lost all patience for the people who spend entirely too much time in WoW overcompensating for their virginity by talking about sex all the time, but I could tune it out if they could at least play the game well, but that seems too hard.

ICC10 is not hard. I've joined PUGs with people barely geared for the place and we've still progressed through it. Now I just want a guild or the wherewithal to move to a server populated by fewer paste-eaters. I know I'm not the best player in the world and that my spec isn't the optimal flavor of the month, but it's really depressing when all I want to do is punch Arthas and have a bit of fun in the process. Maybe I'm the only one who takes the whole "Gears is the means, not the end" approach to heart.

Complaint #2: the fast-respawning mobs in crystalsong are making flying over the area worse than pre-patch wintergrasp.

Complaint #3: said mobs drop greens and BoE blues/epics. Nice job blizzard, way to give incentive to gold farmers to never leave the area.

What the fuck was so wrong with the old holiday event they had to change it into this bullshit? Was it so hard to get items off the guards and NPCs? Now we have to go dick about in Lagsong Forest with 50 other players all who are just running about spamming AoE and kill mobs that only have a chance of dropping 1/10th of 1/4th of the daily max of love tokens.

I wish my crystalsong only had 50 people in it. Try 300 or more and you'll get an idea of how bad it is now.

I only counted the asshats who pathed by me to spam AoEs on the targets around me then leave. I did however laugh at the fact that 80% of the ground was covered in either Death and Decay or consecration.

Mal'ganis is crowded as hell and I still got my 5 kills done in 2 minutes (most of the slowdown on that was from lag, too, not trouble claiming). I'm not really bothered by this event. Anyhow, it's one daily, you can just skip it if it is that much a problem. You'll still be able to get more than enough Love Tokens through the event to complete your achievements.

I agree with you completly onorgul... i'm getting tired of all these scrubs on Mal'Ganis. I started WoW the day TBC came out and have been on mal'ganis ever since, most of My RL friends quit WoW and one of them started over as Alliance on Smolderthorn. And theres no way i'm paying to transfer my 2 characters there and then turn them both into ally >.>

I Also can't Find a Guild thats worthwhile, most i've looked at want experience, which i can't get because i don't have achievements, which i can't get because i don't have achievements (x.x) The game gets boring fast w/o a guild <,<

Did a ICC25 for the weekly and I probably had one of the lowest GearScores and was 3rd on DPS charts >.> granted i was on my ret pally but still, Of course we didnt down marrowgar because 90% of the raid had downs -_-

Oh and yesterday i got kicked from ICC10, for not putting Blessing of Wisdom on the casters/healers, we had a shaman... who was using Manaspring...

I'm starting to wish i never started on Mal'Ganis...

Shaman don't seem to understand this. I see shaman drop mana spring totem when they never go below 90% mana, ever. Healing stream would be infinitely better...
