Yeah, I only ever switch to manaspring in 5mans.

I dunno if this more of an accomplishment or not, but I made someone mad. I hate incompetent players. The love is in the air thing in SFK with the bosses reset if people leave the area apparently. Found that out the hard way. I said "ready?" and turned my quest in, and then they turned red, yadda yadda, and a few people ran back to the goblin near the door. When the bosses were attackable, they despawned and I lost my try. After a little bit, one of the guys QQs in tells to me about how I was a dick for not using my summon, then he ignored me. Saves me the trouble lol
Random complaint from a new forum member, vanilla raider.
Cataclysm is like an axe in my side, not to mention pre expansion content. I quit the game after the second week of ulduar because I saw it becoming redundantly easy at an extremely fast pace. Now onyxia and nefarian got the five fingered nerf in general skill as a group compared to what it used to take. (No, I'm not saying Onyxia was hard, but for a post expansion end game raid I'd expect more. WAY more.)
The horrifying rape of the lore is another thing, what with Tauren paladins soon to be running a muck, crowding mail boxes. The only thing I've seen so far other then the general revival (however I expect them to dumb down difficulty in all content) of vanilla raids and bringing the population back to the foundations was Goblins. MY GOD. Goblins. I've wanted a Goblin character since I first stepped foot into booty bay.
As for the other race; Worgen, I lol'd. God I couldn't be more amused at this attempt. Silliest idea by far, other then the april fools tin hat.
No matter. I tried coming back to the game but couldn't even respec for the horrifying leach on graphics and need for addons to customize UI. To much warhammer I suppose.
Nefarian got a nerf? News to me.
ohhh, this is another one of those 'back in my day we farmed nature resist, fire resist, AND frost resist as well as world buffs, 10 elixirs+flask per person and by gum we liked it' BAWWWW posts.
Gotcha.
Me personally? Not at all. Granted it was required to attend bwl, but the guild I was in wasn't nearly as elitist as most of the vanilla raiders were. Never did the flask farming bullshit, never liked farming for Resistance gear just to be told my dps is under par, but thats not my complaint. my complaint is the lack of ingenious or rather difficult tactics to take out bosses for top par gear.
I'm also one of the ones that could complain all day about arena's and, as an addition, resilience being the end of balanced pvp as far as gear based. Thats not to say that a green geared level 60 could possibly take out a fully epic'd out raider, but at least there wasnt a huge gimp for pve players taking part in pvp.
People saying wow is easy when they haven't done the content is my biggest pet peeve in the game... you can say WoW is easy when you down The Lich King in Heroic 25m Hardmode.
oh... also people who don't realize lore changes over time or say "lorelol" w/o looking into it.
Especially in Cata's case... Tauren aren't Magically becoming Pallies, NElfs aren't magically turning into mages... give blizzard time to tell you the story. >.>
If you personally down first four bosses of 10 man ulduar, almost down hardmode xt in 10 man in the first three weeks, you can say its easy. If a guild takes out Lich king before the first week its released, its to easy.
inb4 lore is completely controlled by Blizzard so in reality they can take the lore where ever they want to accommodate the bullshit moves like 'tauren paladin'.
Just saying, no offense or urge to start an argument.
comedy goldalmost down hardmode xt in 10 man in the first three weeks, you can say its easy
compared to ffxi, yeah this game is cake.
the game by itself? anything after BC is easy, true story.
Hahaha, are you insane? The only thing hard about FFXI is AV (as far as we know he's unkillable) and PW (because of the insane amount of farming and people you need for it as well as only having 1 attempt).
Everything else is a joke.
Edit: long, boring, annoying, pain in the ass =/= hard.
I never understood why people think FFXI is hard, or harder than WoW? The game mechanics arent complicated , and every fight revolve around 3 or 4 strategies that are almost always identical (blink tank + dd + support, cs stun + zerg, or kiting). If there is adds, sleepga them. If tp moves matter, bring more rng/smn.
The only events that is somewhat difficult to master is salvage. There is nothing hard particularly, but a group will need good practice to performs well. When you look back at the "hardest" fight (excluding AV), they would be normal fight in WoW. The average WoW players won't have any trouble outrunning Ultima's CB or moving to adds in Bahamut's rematch...it's thing they deal with daily.
[edit]
And blink tanking might give you the impression it's hard...but is it really?
Should I just assume the "91" in your handle, kot91, is a reference to your birth year? If so, please shut up and go back to playing with your Tonka trucks and complaining about how back in the day, all you had were sticks and rocks and you liked it.
WoW was never difficult. Raiding was grossly overtuned because it was set up by former EverQuest addicts who thought that raiders wanted to be punished. Then someone opened a window and realized that, in addition to sunlight and fresh air, there are 6 billion other people on the planet who could name at least 40 billion things they'd rather do than sleep through Molten Core or chase whelps in Onyxia's Lair. I cannot comment on how difficult EverQuest was, but I'm betting it wasn't anything noteworthy. I mean, it can't be, it's an MMORPG. They're not inherently complex games. Few games ever are, thanks to that niggling little word "game." If you want hard, bullet-hell top-down shooters would like to take you out back and violently violate your ego.
