Dude, the varying difficulty in this game is what keeps me playing it over FFXI! :D Sure, there are bits that are terrifyingly easy. But that's the beauty of it, because I can rush through some stuff in like 40 minutes and still have time for both dinner and my linguistics presentation. But saying that just because [insert top guild here] can beat The Lich King on 25m the first week it's out, it's too easy, is just silly. There are a lot of guilds out there who do ICC, but won't be traipsing through to the Lich King himself for another few weeks at least, and even more guilds who won't find it trivial anytime soon. And hell, if something ever does become too trivial, and I have the time, then there's always heroic mode.

The issue would be that if he's that young, he either never came anywhere close to Molten Core, much less the really overtuned nonsense of vanilla, or he is looking through rose-colored glasses of "I was leet, once." 15-year-olds are terrible at judging the worth of anything and tend to have notably skewed ideas about what difficulty is and is not, at least based on what I've seen among MMO players. Maybe ten years ago I had a limitless capacity for time-wasting bullshit, too, but I've honestly forgotten. Actually, come to that, I did just describe high school, didn't I?

Onorgul you could always join us if you want some people to talk to or run 10mans with, although I am not 100% sure how crowded we are.

Also, I hate the difficulty argument. Hardmodes are for people who want a hard game, normal mode is for casuals. You can argue that FFXI is harder than WoW-casual but you can not possibly argue FFXI is harder than WoW-hardmode.

Anyone else having issues with their quest log? Mine isnt updating when I flag new quests or finish quests I was working on. I thought it might have been QuestHelper but I turned that off and it is still occuring.

Ended up playing with my addons and it seems Ackis was the one that was throwing everything off. Its a shame too really, that addon was the shit with finding recipes for my crafts.

Did they fix Battle Before the Citadel, other fast-respawning Icecrown mobs, and Culling of Stratholme zombies too? Because if they did it's pure rage time for me.
