doing togc 10 with 2 healers down and icehowl is sitting at 500k hp. massive crash, charges in for trample, and the fucking idiot hunter with 5.6k gs doing 4k dps SAT THERE AND RAN AGAINST THE WALL. i proceeded to yell at him for being such a goddamn idiot and the tank, who had nothing to do with this says, 'sorry i can't play with someone who tanks this game so seriously' and leaves.

I just think its gay that you cannot buy any decent epic PVP gear at 70 with your honor. if you don't have Wotlk, you sit at 70 with shit to do, so you buy it.

Defense rating always contributes to avoidance (block/dodge/parry/miss), even after the crit cap, it's not a terrible stat. Even ignoring block, defense rating should give you more total avoidance than parry rating per point, and something close to what you get from dodge rating depending on DRs.

Well 70 was relevent for an entire expansion, but thankfully WoW has an interesting idea called progression. True story. Besides, wotlk is only like 15 bucks or some shit isn't it?

Well, it's on my DK. I'm tempted to go to fallen crusader for more TPS/DPS. Right now I'm sitting on 575 defense skill, and short on badges for t10 chest. I got lucky with t10 drops in VOA so it's way better than what I have currently for EH/Avoidance. Ran out of gold because of how much I beat RNG this week. Went and farmed kara with a friend for like 400gold.

Running Nexus on my main, I can easily clear the place in less than 15min with a somewhat decent group. I'm with 4 people from the same guild. Get through the dwarf boss and the shadow priest links healing meters, he's beating the shaman, as the shaman was supposedly afk? Whatever, they can communicate amongst themselves, group is doing fine. We finish the 2nd boss and about to get to the dragonkin area and the shaman says we should do Chaos Theory, killing the 3rd boss without killing any rifts. I don't mind as I need it myself, clear the trash, pull the boss, don't dps the rifts. Boss gets to 20% and then two of the dps die. I notice now the shaman is not in range. I blow cooldowns and barely live and we beat the boss, but their dps had killed a rift so no achievement. The shaman yells at me saying he was afk. He had not said he was afk, his group had covered for him last afk, I had no way of knowing this ninja afk mattered.

We start clearing the final trash before the rock boss, final pull I'm not getting heals, but I'm keeping SS up, hit a trinket and survive with 2k health. I pull the boss with 2k health as the shaman was in range and not afk, he's simply not healing me. With VE healing, JoL and SS up I gain health through the fight and do not die. I run down the tunnel to try and get to the next pack quickly but I'm removed from the group before it happens.

So tl:dr guy afk's only telling his friends, but no one tells me, then gets mad at me for not knowing he's afk. Then they kick me from group.

I had a similar nexus last night (3500dps and 45% total dmg). I wasnt kicked, but got in a fight with people constantly afk'ing. I don't give a shit if you afk, there is nothing I can't solo here, and I'm not going to waste 3 min waiting for you.



Anyway, here is another complain. Fuck monsters that always move to the side or behind you for no fucking reason when you're positioning them. I wish they would nicely follow you like they do in FFXI.

Mob positioning/pathing/hitbox/whatever it is has been fucked up since 3.3. Blizz acknowledged it as a bug but than just never fixed it. I guess it's a "feature" now.

Really? Well...fuck. I've been yelled at least twice for this so far. Their movement did feel abnormally sensitive lately.

It doesnt even matter most of the time if the boss move, but god forbid the dps of being forced to move around.

Yeah the pathing sucks badly. Yesterday I did Blood Council in a PuG (well, most were from the same raiding, I was just invited to come along) which was a first for me. I had to tank Teldaram (sp?) and I constantly tried to not have him face the raid which sucked so badly I actually clipped him through the closed door... What the fuck really... Every time I moved like 1 step he would run straight through me to hit me from behind and the bitch already hits hard enough as is (hits me for ~12-16k).

my fucking server is absolutely terrible. the best guild on the server is 11/12, and every single guild below it is 6/12 on down. i'm waiting to get into this best guild, and hopefully will to save myself from all the garbage players, but honestly everyone outside that guild is absolutely fucking retarded. like, i was in the second best guild which is 6/12 in icc 25, and their so called best players didn't even have fucking kirin tor or hodir enchants. seriously?

oh and my god the pugs. on three seperate occasions with 3 completely different pugs the group cannot even down lady deathwhisper(10 or 25) or togc 10 beasts(past jormungars)

I don't quite understand it myself but people don't seem to take Northrend Beasts seriously. 9 times out of 10 when I pug toc10 all the DPS treat it like a tank and spank and don't bother killing off the snobalds. Then they cry when the tank dies because a healer can't cast anything. Or they get hit with the toxin on the jorms and just sit there instead of running to the OT to get the debuff removed. Any group that can get to Icehowl without failing seems to be able to clear the whole thing, so I guess blizzard just decided to put an intelligence check (as I like to call it) as the first encounter.

It's a pretty good gateway really. Decent dps check, decent tank check, decent healing check, decent retard check.

But yeah I haven't seen a non-gdkp toc that didn't look like terrible fail in a month or more.

it really is fucking stupid. i honestly can't get anything done because if i run with any pug there's always a few idiots and since basically 80% of icc is dependant upon nearly every player doing a fairly decent job i can't get any loots.

it really fucks over players that aren't shitty and have nothing more to gain in heroics. plus guilds don't understand that i can't replace my t9 because the 4 piece is so good that you need to replace all triumph pieces with 264 pieces just to beat out the dps increase that the set gives you.

i seriously hope i get into this guild. apparently i should have no problems as the recruitment officer says they look for basically well rounded players who have a good rotation, dps, and survivability in raids. not just some guy that got into a successful icc 25 and downed 4 bosses which yielded him some nice gear.

Problem with ICC raid for me is that they always fucking disband at rotface or professor because someone has to go. I just want one pug that can last 4-5 hours...but no...2h top.
