Tricks is wonderful unless you have a bear tank who loses threat to a DK getting tricks mid-fight. /facepalm

My random complaint is Deathbringer as Fireball, quite possibly the most annoying fight I've ever done. By the time my 2+ second cast finishes and travels to the blood beast its already dead. Thinking of just LBing every beast and going back to the boss.
I'm being lured back to FFXI, halp. Found out a few newer guild members still play on Siren (now merged into Sylph or something?) and yeahhhhhhh.
That and WoW is pretty shitty atm, with a good majority of the guild seemingly not giving a shit about LK :<
My guild still wipes reguarly on rotface 25, wtb new guild.
Loves how now that I am top of loot list, well at least for melee, DBW will just not drop.
I truly hate trinkets with a passion.
Fucking herb prices. Attempted to grind alchemy to 400ish (endless mana potion + flask of the north are amazing for prot paladins) but I'm sitting at 275. Plaguebloom or Mountain Silversage is basically essential for me to get any levels and they're 25g and 20g PER HERB respectively. And not much Silversage in stock either. The rest of the herbs are 5-6g each too, so each level is looking to be 20-100g and I still have 75 more levels before I can get to more reasonable Northrend prices.
I swear to fucking god bloodlust needs to be fucking removed from arenas, reduced in duration, or a self only fucking buff because this is god damn fucking absurd. -45 points (we decided to be smart and stop queuing for once) to fucking Lusted s.priest/rogue/restosham teams after beating a bunch of 2.6k rated teams. LOL KIDNEY SHOT LOL CHEAP SHOT OH TRINKET? LOL FEAR LOL PSYCHIC HORROR LOL VANISH OH DETERRENCE? I DON'T THINK SO CHEAP SHOT NO DETERRENCE FOR YOU LOL DISMANTLE ALL WHILE BEING FUCKING TRAINED BY THE GOD DAMN SHADOW PRIEST OH MY GOD I'M GOING TO MURDER A GALLON OF KITTENS. Don't even get me started on Mage/Lock/Druid, Because locking out control of a character forever is some how fucking fair. I hate this expansion.
God. Fucking. Damn.
What about Mage/Lock/Druid changed to make it able to CC-chain in WotLK that didn't work in BC?
And isn't the entire basis of RMP that you keep one person perma-CC'd and that's been going for 8 seasons?
Eh, RMP is easy to beat. I actually want to play RMP teams, but yeah that's the basis of it. Mage/lock/druid have spammable cc's all on different DRs so you can just lock out 2 out of 3 of the players. It's complete shit.
It has higher burst than it did in BC, Frost/Destro can global people when you set it up, you couldn't do that in BC. We only played one Mage/Lock/Druid team tho, We literally queued against 7 different RPS teams a few of which were 2kish rated and of course we lost to them, so we lost a ton of fucking points but managed to beat a few of them.
Yay another piece of garbag PUG

Hard to single out any one failure in a group that fell apart before Anomalus in H.Nexus of all places, but this guy stands out. 2.3k overall dps, afk for 10+ minutes then comes back after a pretty disastrous pull with 'I was fixing my macro for hardmode sindragosa.'
At which point he disbanded, thinking I wouldn't check up on his lies.
Yep...I love the random dungeon tool...
"SPACEBALLS THE GUILD"
That amused me more than it should![]()
Yeah, it's this.
In BC you could survive the literally infinite CC while still being able to do something productive, or even cc them back and turn it around.
Now you get up against CC teams and you're forced to trinket the very first one just to prevent the initial burst from dropping someone, and then they're dying with no cooldowns as soon as the next cc hits anyway.
It's sad, because the only really effective ways to counter teams like RMP are to brainlessly zerg one of them, usually the mage. Which of course results in everything that counters cc teams getting nerfed because it's "skillless".
In TBC, if the other team is doing it right you can still win if you're doing it right, too.
Now, it's over so fast that how well you do it doesn't matter nearly as much as what's the matchup.
I'm not saying it doesn't matter at all, just that there's no time for it to develop.
Blowing your trinket and all your defensive cd's right off the bat used to mean you were doing it wrong.
Now it's pretty much how good arena works.
Hell, that's why prot pallies are viable-- the 2nd burst comes up before cooldowns do.
