Wrong! Cyclone shadowfiend, then cyclone me, and I get a grand total of 0 mana returned!

Druids have always been bullshit, I liked how when deathknights could remove their OP hots in pvp foul was cried and it was immediately taken away from us and nothing given in return other then our shit strike hitting a little harder. Only way to kill a druid now for me is to hope he's stupid enough to not put hots on himself, silence him and tear into him then use the buggy as shit mind freeze and hope I catch regrowth cast, which I usually do but it still goes through anyways. :D

Sounds like you're being outplayed.

This video was taken when innervate was 20 seconds / 6 minute CD, returned twice as much mana, and he has the innervate glyph for an extra 3000, and resilience was 15% more effective at reducing mana burnt, and the druid only has 13k max mana so only loses 1368 before resilience, 1056 per burn after resilience, so a 23% reduction which is 850 resilience at the time, pretty stacked gear for the era (s6). Also the druid is in OO5SR regen the entire time.

Aurik I'm playing arena at 2500+, druids and paladins don't let innervate/divine plea get dispelled, and every class in the game CCs or kills my shadowfiend instantly. I mean, I'll even dispel them clean at the start of the match and there will times when they're in LoS when they pop their CD and I'm spamming dispel and getting chain resisted or I keep hitting trash buffs, so they get the full duration and I'm down 3K mana from all the dispels.

EDIT: And if they're not brain dead, I'm not getting any burns off either. It's not difficult to LoS mana burn, I was spamming burn on a healer so it started casting as soon as he came in LoS, he ran past me and around the other side of the pillar before the cast even finished. Interrupts, silences, stuns, and the fact that even if I'm spamming burns on them I'll run out first. Pretty shitty to have your mana regen balanced around such a worthless ability.

I've gotten pretty damn good at it. It sucks ass, and you have to have the fight drag on enough to where the Druid isn't paying attention anymore.

The last match I had against Druid/Warrior (as most 2s matches are), lasted 20 mins, and I only won because the Druid got impatient and started trying to swap forms and DPS me. I started DPSing the Warrior until I got the Druid out from behind the pillar, immediately swapped to the druid, had my Paladin healer stun him, improved CS with .5 seconds left on stun, arcane torrented with .5 seconds left on improved CS, then finished him off.

That is literally the only way I can ever kill a Druid.

If you get outmana'd by a Druid and you're playing Dispel cleave, your warrior shouldn't tunnel so much

You can pull the druid out of hiding almost on-demand by purging his hots off a vulnerable target. Next time you see him run off to innervate just purge and go offensive on his teammate instead of fishing for dispels / burns. But, you're playing at 2500+, you knew that already right?

Also it's pretty obvious you should be popping your fiend when the druid is too busy healing to clone it.

We rarely lose mana wars on my 3s team, doesn't make druids or paladins any less retarded though.

But none of the teams I've played on in the 2400-2500 bracket(RMP, ret/disc/mut, ret/disc/MM, ret/disc/frost, Hpal/disc/arms) have ever been able to put out enough pressure for this to happen. All that happens is I spam dispel and run OOM years before the druid and he lollerskates around skillervating behind a pillar while his teammates play defensive. The druid doesn't have to be the one that CCs my fiend, like I said every class in the game has a method of doing so. Undispellable warrior fear works wonders on my fiend, my fiend macro is set to dispel my fiend if I push it while he's out, I'll jam it to break fears, roots, all kinds of shit and he still doesn't get near anyone, rogues can shiv it, most classes can 3 shot it.
