FoS is the most tank-unfriendly zone in the game. Period. People die to AOE? Tank's fault. People pull aggro on an unsilenced caster 10 yards from the tank and die? Tank's fault. Brohnjahm kills a caster? Tank's fault. Curse goes undispelled on Devourer trash and tank dies? Tank's fault. People don't stop DPS during mirror on Devourer and healer dies? Tank's fault.

I refuse to go in there without a rogue to pin mobs and kick shit.

Ranged stand out during soulstorm...it's your fault. You should have taunted them into melee range.


Also any hunter want to tell me why some feel the need to stand at max fucking range on Marrowgar? Didn't they knock your deadzone to like 1yrd or something? I hate having to run back from the boss to break the 1 or 2 hunters that have been spiked.

expertise isn't an issue for ret really and arp sux for ret i could get the agi cloak but there we run into the same problems with the arp either way they both blow dick and are very minimal upgrades over the crappy 245(like 5-10 dps)

This. Melee can hit him from nearly 15 yards away. That's too close for a hunter. I save Sprint for when hunters get spiked.

Of course, we didnt die, arthas didnt touch us, and I finished top on parser...but yeah...wtf.

Agree. FoS and HoR have to be the most annoying instances to tank. I usually don't get people shouting at me, and if they do, fuck them. Ask 'em if they want to endure waiting another 20 minutes for a tank to come save them.

While I was actually in the process of gearing my Prot warrior I was also going for the FoS boots.. went 0/6 and then 1/7. Paladin healer ninja'd them and left before I could say anything.

I love pulling trash groups in FoS on Pally and I can only get two of the three casters grouped up. Of course, there's always that one dps that every pull gets on the one caster out of range for me do anything to except taunt.

Yeah, I love it when all 3 dps attack differents mobs that are spread and wont move because they are spell caster.

I love it even more when one of these dps is a death knight with death grip.

seriously i was like some kinda tab spamming twitching demon, and still the fucking mage died cause he was too retarded to iceblock, the healer died twice because he didn't LoS... they leave because "tank wasn't tanking"... HI WHAT IS A GCD lol. I have the protadin set bonus which gives taunt cooldown reduction and still didn't have enough of them

His hitbox is god awful. If you're anywhere within like 15 yard of him, you're swinging your melee sticks at him.

Complain to blizzard, not hunters. Festergut and Rotface don't have that problem, and they're huge as well.

Huge hitbox, but can stand somewhat close, and even then if your dps fail to free an impaled hunter you got bigger problems than hunters at max range.

My thoughts exactly, after grabbing up the 232 dagger from FoS I finnaly could enter H HOR and after about 4 tries have yet to get to the first boss.

and then you have your 3 dps each trying to kill a different target and you eventually lose threat on one of them causing a wipe. I hate tanking H HoR.
I always hate seeing the Footmans at 50% when the priest just now died.

Or lrn2play and don't use LoS because consecrate is shitty for snap aggro.

Shield slam first guy, judge 2nd, hammer if there's a third (should hit one or two other guys), run to the hunter if there is one and then taunt/avenger's shield the mage if he's around and you've got all 5. Subtract parts for the easier pulls. If there's a DK that makes shit much easier if you can get him to death grip.

I think the LoS method is far inferior, I don't like it except on my druid. And that's because a druid has shit when it comes to tools to deal with casters and stuff.
