I would kill for some TOGC10, probably have more upgrades from there than normal ICC 10. Plus the horse is pretty awesome.

I really wish my guild had members that where online outside of the ICC raid times, we have two people with 20+ shards for Valanyr and can never get Ulduar off the ground. Hell, doing ICC 10 is hard, TOGC 10 out of the question.

Basically we thought that with 7 solid people with gear that greatly surpasses what 10LK is tuned for could carry 3 decently geared pugs with the 20% buff. We were wrong.

I can't wait to find out that Eva/Gor no longer care and we won't even get to do ICC again without a full on pug at 30%, lulz

I did an ICC25 over the past week though. My buddy basically took over and made the group after the initial guy got about 10 people. We go through and kill Saurfang and bam, ninja mark/DBW to the paladin leader. What's funny is that after he ninja'd that and left...the group still continued and made 6/12, which is better than what other people are posting happen in their groups that don't have ninja leaders, lol.

not sure what is causing it, but every time I try and close out of WoW, shit freezes and fails to execute makes me /rage

also sometimes locks up during game play causing me to have to completely restart, not sure if its an add on or my interface or what, but its getting kinda annoying lol

I went 10/12 in a pug during either the 5% or 10% days on my priest. Granted I was brought in halfway and Atirat had been replacing people with guildies the whole time. But my warlock also got PP down before my paladin, iirc. And that was in a pug as my warlock had not yet become my main.

Pretty sure all those people I grouped with for that stuff now has managed a LK kill (unlike me!) and only goes to heroic ICC's.

I dunno; the patience in FFXI was forced. If you didn't have it, you simply quit the game, not just a pug run, and hell, pugs are impatient in every game once there's an established tier of players higher than them that have cleared things.

Pugs got impatient in FFXI xp/merits once arrowburns/axeburns showed up, and even MORE impatient once bird camps came around.

You wanna talk patience? We wiped 14 times on HBQ last night and didn't quit till our third flasks wore off. People still have patience; you just need to look outside of pugs to find it. Pugs shouldn't be the determination of your "people lack xxx" comments.

As far as patience, it's more in the nature of the game. In wow, you can spend 15mins and get something done. In ffxi, while I believe it overall is a better game, you cant get anything important done in less than an hour. time sink vs TIME SINK. So, there will be more impatient players in wow due to the nature of the game. Ive simply accepted that a wipe on anything = 1 person bails, which causes a few more to bail, and eventually you're back in dalaran listening to someone talk about dicks in trade chat.

This is a mixed response to multiple people, but I think a lot of people are overlooking the fact that the challenge in FFXI is rarely in "can we kill XYZ mob". Go do a Nyzul run or something with a shout group that has shit go terribly wrong. See if the group wants to go again. If they do, and it goes terribly again, see if they want to try a 3rd time with that group. I doubt they will. Yea, it takes more time to get shit done in FFXI, but rarely are you in a situation where you wipe and try again, then wipe and try again etc. If there were, I highly doubt you'd find FFXI people to be anywhere near as "patient" as you remember them being. In fact, this is exactly why most /shout Dynamis/Einherjar runs have insane turnover rates.

Yeah I use it, wouldn't be surprised really if it was causing it, shit sometimes hogs up more mem them Recount and Questhelper, which isn't really even that helpful.
