Should just make respeccing free, since gear is so readily available in WoTLK as opposed to the other two expansions there's more of a need to respec. Also I know my guild usually brings 2 healers + a DPS offhealer to ICC 10 hard modes, that just sucks for the DPS offhealer if they want to play PvP or something and they are stuck with a PvE shadow and PvE disc tree.

I run into this problem quite frequently. Shit sucks when you're combat and ArPen upgrades offer maybe 80-100 dps, but with all the haste/AP gear you could collect one good dagger in ICC is a 400+ dps upgrade with regemming. I pass on daggers for that reason, mostly, I hate regemming shit.

Yes, and you roll 99 on it, orgasm, then lose to a 100. Then, it drops 2 more, and you roll 90 against 91 and 98.

I get an IM today at 7 PM saying he's online and we can do games, but I was asleep because I stayed up hella late getting my friend's mage to 80 so he'd pay me. The warrior usually only gets on on Mondays, so when (IF) he gets on next week we'll be a whole month without practice.

Sounds like you need to play some Priest Mage Paladin. Or have starfun quit that silly 2100 rated team on his Shaman and play wizard cleave.

The reason I think it's stupid is because of Ulduar really.

Some fights required me as combat, some required me as mutilate. If I was never able to roll on swords/fists because I was mutilate, then I would be holding the guild back in terms of progression - and since we were raiding at a high level it was important for us all to bring as much as we could.

So now I go on my rogue alt to ICC25 pug, the same thing happens. 2nd boss I dont want to be mutilate, but 4th 5th I do. Queen I do. But now I'm gimped. You can't tell me that daggers are for my offspec lol, that's like saying a warrior using an Axe can't roll on a sword, because it requires a talent change. Silly. It's not like I'm a shaman going from DPS to Healing, I'm going from DPS to DPS. You could only really make the argument that the weapon will be wasted or not used until they pick up a 2nd one... but then you could make another argument. An example is allowing hunters to roll on one handers if they are using a 2hander. It doesn't require a talent change, but it still requires a 2nd one.

Not really a complaint, well I guess it is sort of...but what the FUCK is wrong with hunters and death knights in pvp 95% of the time? Every DK I face on my arms warrior alt pops AMS against me, every hunter uses Silencing Shot on me.. is there an addon or something doing this that they all have? o_O

If you're talking about battlegrounds, there are widely spread bots that people use to AFK honor farm. They make your character run along defined paths and use pre-set ability rotations when they get in combat. It's not uncommon to see 30%+ players botting per BG.
