I just do 10mans with RL friends and sister. Most fun I've had in years. I pug some 25mans but that's the extent of it. Pushing for world firsts really drained me.

It's a lot like the early years of FF11 to me now, cause of the close relationships I had in that at the time.

I can't emphasize how much fun I'm having in Aesctaa's guild, even though its 10 mans. I can't even get any upgrades out of 10 man really but for once I feel the benefit to raiding is having fun and not gear. Also I love other instances so doing ICC full clear -> TOGC -> Ulduar (Algalon) in one week of raiding is just heaven for me.
I just hope that when they finnaly release the Mage legendary that it won't be 25 only because that would seriously make me cry irl.

Last time I checked TOS (few months ago) I believe the page was a little different. Think that "I grouped with a ninja looter" was a longer paragraph, and I don't remember a link to a page entirely dedicated to it. I remember checking the ToS everyday for a few days because I was looted something in a raid (rolled a 92, thought I won it) and gemmed it to use it right there, but apparently someone had rolled higher than me and it was a misloot. Oh well, shit's gemmed. People bitched called it a ninja. Nothing in the ToS that said anything could be done.

Oh by the way, none of these posts have anything to do with what happened in my raid, and won't have anything to do with the outcome of the ticket.

See I would of loved to do this in WoW but people always, essentially, stopped doing 'old' content once the new stuff came out.

Anyone also hates when X loot drops and you are on X toon and you wanted it for Y toon.
I've seen Frost Giant's Cleaver drop four weeks in a row and no Heroic shield for my Warrior while. I'm on my DK the shield/boots drop and Axe refuses to drop... My frost DK is running with 264/232 weapons.

I am going to have to complain about the recent changes to raids. I honestly loved the 40 man raids as well as the 25 mans now. Basically all 25 man guilds besides the hardcore guilds top 200ish will end up going 10 man.

All the 25-man guilds that only exist for 25-man raids and don't exist because they're 25 people that like each other are going to break and move to 10-man guilds. I don't see that as a bad thing, having a bunch of people you dislike you have to play with is bad

If we're talking come Cata, then they will both share the same lockout timer and drop the exact same item level loot.

I didn't understand the difference between both? 25 man drops more of the same loot? In that case, what's the point? Instead of splitting one piece of loot between 3 people, it's now 3 pieces of loot between 12 people.

To be completely honest I bet what blizzard does to appease the people that do want to do 25s is put the next legendary as 25 man only, like they are now. I completely hate this idea but its definitely an option for keeping 25 mans around.

They said they don't want them to have that kind of exclusively because that works directly against the whole purpose of making 10's and 25's have the same lockout.

The heroic 25 will drop more armor, weapons and tier-piece tokens per player than the heroic 10. The normal 25 will drop more badges per player than the normal 10, and it might drop more armor and weapons as well. Legendaries would most likely be both 10 and 25. We don't want a player to have to say "I prefer running 10s, but now I feel like I have to run 25s to get a specific item." If they say "I prefer running 10s, but now I feel like I have to run 25s to gear up faster," well, tough.

I like that, I think I should be able to do my Shadowmourne quest chain in my heroic 10man group since our 25man can't even down Putricide Normal.
