Now I'm not saying I'm a pro at WoW, but...

So far level 70 Holy Priest/Shadow Priest (planning on changing to disc/shadow for PVP once I hit 80) and I've loved this game so far. The amount of tnl that jumped up from 70-71 is ridic, but whatever, its a process.

I get to LK instances (and also Sethekk Halls, which sucks) and so far almost all the tanks I've partied with, suck. For whatever reason, I've yet to meet a good DK that can even tank decently. The best tanks I've encountered were either my friend (who's staticing with me on his Paladin) and a few warriors here or there.

What annoys me is as soon as the tank dies...

"What the fuck can I get some heals?"

I'm 100% sure I'm doing my job how I'm suppose to be doing it. Mana conservation can get a bit tricky when I'm on holy (it was easier to maintain a big enough mana pool to never oom on disc) but I still manage. The problem is, the tank dies within a few milliseconds, considering I'm spamming bubble/flash heal, and even guardian spirit when I have to.

My complaint is basically that people blame the healer for almost everything, and that shit is annoying. Its honestly the only thing that's annoyed me in this game besides all the dumbass little kids.

Most tanks at that level go in to dungeons w/o ANY tank gear on. They just toss on their dps shit, maybe grab a shield thats 10lvls lower then them and rush in.

Just missing One Light for my Ulduar 10 drake since March 5th now... Half the group has fallen to the wayside because they didn't want to run anymore/couldn't run anymore/left the guild/realm/whatever, so it would only complete the drake for 5 people. Which means we got 5 slots to fill, and nobody ever wants to come help with that fight. So either we get a shit setup (ranged in brain rooms, nobody who can decurse, lulz), or a great setup with people who can't stay the fuck out of saronite clouds.

And to make it worse, one of the repeat offenders for clouds has been with us since the very start in like, late January. >.< I can't just tell that person "woops, GTFO lulz, sorry!"

Yeah, get used to being blamed for everything if you're healing.

I'm tanking on my warrior, she just hit lvl 70 and in full cobalt gear + tanking acc and prot spec... I still take way too much damage. I don't die instantly but it doesn't seem as smooth as BC was.

what I would probably do is just do a dungeon once a day for your 2 triumph badges then work on questing =/ unless you know a good tank or wanna chance pug tanks at that level. I also hated healing as holy until my gear started getting better. went oom way too fast and it didn't feel like I had any ohshit buttons. as disc, it just felt like I had more tools to work with.

At first I didn't want to quest thinking that questing on Priest would be extremely frustrating, then I discovered how powerful Shadow Priests actually are. Raped Netherwhatever quests in an hour flat last night (went from 68-70 with ribbon exp boost).

General decency is thrown out of the window when you get in random hc's these days. It must be me but theres a huge difference between telling someone who you think might not be capable of healing the group and saying LOL NOOB HEALER GTFO L2P. Those bitches didn't hear me rage on their ass when my lol4950gs Frost DK outdps'd their 5.6k Enh Shaman. Case in question was a FoS HC with a 5.1k prot war with his 5.6k shaman buddy raging over a wipe on the first boss when the 3.4k disc priest couldn't keep everyone up. Second try went flawless and the second boss went fine too, ofcourse the 2 bitches quit the second the boss got killed so any loot dropped would take ages to distribute.

On another note, fuck having to regem every fucking thing when switching from arcane to fire spec. Then regem again if i need/want to use my arcane (burst) spec... fuck it.

I think the issue people have with tanks, most of the time it's people thinking 'ohey wotlk heroics get chain pulled therefore everything else can be' and pull way too much. I didn't have issues till BC heroics or wotlk stuff to completely chain pull on my pally, but pally is ridiculously OP before mobs can out damage block value =/

Well heroics are usually easier since you get tossed often with overgeared players.

That, however sucks as a freshly dinged tank (with proper tank gear and spec ib4haters )

[Correction]

I've received word that after the next set of rolling restarts, which may be happening as early as tonight, inspection requests on other players will start to be throttled.

This is being done because some addons generate a large number of inspection requests, so beware as some addons may start to behave unexpectedly, flat out break, or otherwise act up. Overall I hope it not to be too bad, but you never know, so here's the heads up.

If you had bothered to read it, they're not breaking it, just slowing it down considerably. Gearscore was generating a lot of inspect requests that were causing server performance issues. This is really no different than the limit between "GetAll" type auction house scans where the whole thing is downloaded at once instead of scanning page by page, which you can only do once every 15 min.

I know that. It's not like you could break gearscore completely unless the inspect function was removed from the game.

My point is, gearscore was already slow as shit at calculating the score. If I can't check people gears instantly in dalaran, the addon is pretty much useless. Not saying they can't optimize the addon, I'm sure they will, but slowing it down definitively won't help.
