Culling > Halls of Stone > 5 minute wait for queue pop > Heroic Pit of Saron with 2 bosses dead.

Tank pulls first 5-pack up the ramp to last boss, fails to actually silence any of the casters, group gets raped.

That's what you get when noone is required to learn to CC for an entire expansion aside from like 3 fights that I can think of(f.champs, the spell flingers in OK, and those pulls). Sadly they can be powered through with enough gear =p People should be required to do at least some basic PVPing before anything else. it really is where you learn your class (and others).

in my experience, going with the best server you can find to match your criterias is worth more than any half leveled char. In our (me and guild mates') case it was the highest ranked alliance PVE server on the east coast. wowwiki has info on where the servers are located at http://www.wowwiki.com/US_realm_list_by_datacenter (avoid the ones hosted in Seattle, as they are always the last ones to come back online after maints etc)
