Stop gearing for GS, you can get 4p in 251 just fine and class depending it's a bigger gain than the stat loss from the 264

Is anyone else having trouble using your mouse to rotate around during raid fights lately? When I right click where someone is, it's making it so my mouse can't rotate, or move forward, or strafe, etc.
Some classes running 2pc t9+2pc t10 is best until you can equip all 4 pieces as well.
And yet other classes *ROGUE* have no business running 4pc t10 at all when better mixes of gear exist.
I found that the dps-gain going from t9->t10 was so low on enh-shammy that its pointless to upgrade until 4x264 ;|
I actually wouldnt mind getting 4x258 on t9 instead right now![]()
Well as people said it's class dependent, Hunter t10 is a prime example of requiring a certain gear level before 4t10 > 2t9 + 2t10
Why is it so hard to LoS Frostbombs or not stand in bad shit gg
Fuck Bronzebeard. This server.. I don't know what to say. Been a horrible tuesday.
fucking blizz needs to take down the servers on tuesday's, as norm. This is the third week since no maint. that our guild including me has had issues with stability. /rant
yay my raid leader is going back to college, now I get to start over and find a group willing to PUG a rogue in ICC25/RS25 every week until I get tired of it.
On my still gearing DK tank that sometimes gets the 'OMG ur healz iz lowz noob':
Priest Healer> All bosses please (Old Kingdom Heroic)
I pull like I always do, which is sorta fast but by packs not whole instance. I go up to the first orb plataform before Taldaram, and ofc go LoS from healer, and die.
Now, I'm usually the one going with the fucks, the bitch and general name calling and insult flinging everywhere, however, seeing how this guy didnt complain about my gear and wanted to do all bosses, decided to be polite.
Me> keep up mate, I can't tank all bosses dead. (He had full mana)
Priest> oh you son of a bitch, idiot, etc /ragequit
/coolstorybro
Yeh it's offputting, a priest told me as DK tank to stop tanking lol. Since as you know we take a bit more damage than other tanks ... however I can't help but feel that the healer is bored on boss fights since I effectly self-manage with Death Strikes heehee
As tank the only discouraging thing so far was a couple of days ago in a random heroic, towards the boss I asked if everyone was ready (as a polite tank), 2 people (who knew each other, same server/guild) actually raged and started throwing insults at me calling me useless/asshole/etc. It got worst when the boss bugged (the first 3 bosses in ToC) and they got even more "dangerous". I dunno, in my opinion they should've been grateful I didn't just pull the boss and then ran towards the exit or leave the group even and wiped them (I had many asshole-ish plans myself, but decided to not ruin the other 2's day, so I didn't respond, carried on tanking and doing my thing - infact one of the dicks was the healer, I was surprised he decided to keep me alive)
I think there was some /whisper arguements too, I'm sure someone made a mistake by typing in party chat "no ur the trash" so i guess the other 2 weren't too impressed either. Either way, I guess it's only a bad luck/random at the end of the day. I stuck with it and didn't respond, won the boss fights and got the hell out.
Thuronn: US Bronzebeard or EU? I'm on the EU one
Since we don't have a WTF/Gimp player thread I suppose I can just post it here.
A week or 2 ago we had a bunch of players join the guild I raid with, one of which was a fellow Mage (yay, not the lone Mage anymore!). The first few runs I found his dps to be kind of lacking and he tends to die a bit fast. But considering we were new to the few icc25 hcs that we were doing I was going to give him the benifit of the doubt. Up until I saw his gear... First time I saw it he had ~650 hit in gear but when looking further I noticed he had pretty much all the non-tier frost pieces and didn't even have 2 (let alone 4) pc t10. Giving tips on how he could reduce his excess hit with some simple and easy to get items fell on deaf ears. Especially when I told him he only needed 14% hit with a moonkin or spriest in the raid. Nooo, counting on that would be a dumb thing to do (hello? 2 gear sets?).
Seriously, how can someone so clueless manage to even get anywhere in this game. Best (or worst..) part is in the few runs that he came to he even managed to walk away with pretty decent crap (tokens and I dunno how but even a 277 festergut pants).
Yesterday he was dumb enough to start shit with some officers like blaming tanks when he died from trash etc. They said he failed his trail and he quit, from his friends group so far only 1 other went with him and I'm curious to see if the other one will follow (a not-very-impressive-but-we-lack-them-bigtime holy paladin).
One thing to understand with heroics and even raiding at this point:
You kind of jumped in at the end of an expansion. Many of the batter players have either capped their mains and alts on gearand badges from heroics and raid, and/or are so bored of running them that they have either quit or play casually and don't bother.
Thats her. Happened to me about a month ago, and even though my dk recently hit 80, I just cant bring myself to heroic grind to get him geared. Also, summer is coming to an end which means school is starting soon for a lot of players. There will be noticeably less in game traffic, which may or may not be a good thing, depending on how you feel about the wow population in general.
Its been my experience that returning to school brings more people back (or at least trades the kids for more adults), however new expansion soon/no new material might cockblock this.
Take solace in the apparent fact that (s)he never gets into raids.
