Not really a complaint, more so something I'm very impressed with on this game.

The GMs.

Holy crap.

First, I made a mistake of not knowing the difference between main hand and one hand when it came to dual wielding, and I spent 40 badges on another leveling sword. Called a GM, talked to him about, got reimbursed, no biggie.

Second, I got a Conqueror's Mark of Sanctification ninja'd from ICC25 earlier. Placed another ticket, got it back with no problems whatsoever.

GMs on this game pretty much rape FFXI's, and its definitely a plus. If this were FFXI, I'd only imagine what a GM would tell me.

I think it was because of the fact that it was an obvious ninja though. Dude rolled 3 times vs. my one roll (92). He got a 96, and the loot master gave it to him right away.

No one was paying attention though because everyone was paying attention to that one trinket, The Deathbringer I think. That shit got ninja'd too.

Started playing again on the EU realms this time ( yay for low ping times ) but fuck me at the rmt spam, the US servers aint got shit on the amount of trade spam these fools have. Trade chat is pretty much unreadable as well as LFG channel its insane.

I may be wrong in this, but people saying I suck at healing on disc priest simply because I'm hardly ever top 3 in a 25-man. They say I'm getting "carried". However, I've asked several disc priest who I consider know what they're doing, and they have assured me I'm doing my job right. They tell me that if disc priest ever comes out on top over other healers, than the other heals suck, which I agreed with.

From my understanding, disc is more about damage prevention then high heals. My main 3 spells are my bubble, prayer of mending, and renew. I toss in pain suppression/power infusion whenever applicable, and use penance/another heal whenever someone needs a quick heal. I never stride to out heal anyone. I abuse the fuck out of the rapture trick whenever applicable (VoA10/25 comes to mind), and just spam bubble if the situation demands it, which is pretty often.

I guess my main complaint is people pretty much not knowing much about disc priest. I may be wrong, but something tells me I'm not. -.-; Maybe I should give holy a go (really don't want to).

Healing meters are retarded to use in general. Majority of players don't know how to interpret them at all.

Hmm no, stay disc, disc is pretty hot right now, tell them to eat a dick that they don't know shit, if you want to know your real hps you can use WOL and check your healing after fights, that's what our disc priest do all the time and get a hard on when he sees his name on top 200 -.-;.

Fuck YES. Best statement ever. Who gives a fick about who healed most, and in some cases who DPS'd most - did everyone or majority live ? Did you kill the bosss/whatever you were wacking on ? If answer to both is YES, then Who really gives a fuck, you did what you set out to do, grats to all involved, etc, now loot that fucker and pass out teh purplez.

It's the main reason my wife and I left the "hardcore" raiding guild we were in after 3 months. The GL (A holydin) kept telling my wife she was crap at healing, but the funny thing is, the tank my wife was assigned to only ever died when we were wiping it up and they were practically the last two left. The GL's BF who is a nicely geared DK tank always seem to eat dirt first.....

Then they started quoting WWS logs at her, made her all upset, but a mate who could read that shit properly just said - Yes she was doing less healing, but she was just being more efficient in her healing, so the net result was the same - people stayed alive.

I had a rant at the offices about thier bullshit and we didn't bother to go to many raids after that. Fucking ruined wow for us for several months, till we got back into a more casual guild with some old friends we used to raid Kara with back in TBC.

Also, fucking Kalimdor quests sending me all over Azeroth for dumb shit. I think I went back and forth between Booty Bay and Thousand Needles 5 times last night finishing the quests in that area.

What I hate is when people post up the healing done, and then they'd see I'm about 10% healing done where they are at like 20% (25 man) then look at me and say "WOW I'M CARRYING DESPAIN AND HE'S GETTING ALL THE LOOT WTFFFFF".

I calmly say "I'm a disc priest", and people usually go off on the person after I say that. In 25 raids I'm almost always on tank duty anyway, however I do throw the occasional bubble on people for rapture to proc on certain AoEs. Whenever someone takes a ton of damage, I usually bubble them + toss in a quick penance. I keep tanks alive almost always, unless for some reason I'm incapacitated. Honestly, I get compliments all the time, its the snobby fucking healers (resto druids mostly) that think being on top of healing done fucking means anything.

What you should do is link the over healing chart. Shove the over healing % in the fucker druids face and see who's in first.

note: I don't give a shit if healers over heal but typically if they're douchebags they'll take it way too personal.

I changed from using recount over to using skada. Did ICC25, I was either first or second using "absorbed and healing". When I linked it, people I was on vent with agreed that recount is biased towards disc priests, and skada is definitely the way to go when gauging your healing.

Pretty sure that Skada "guesses" what our absorbs are, since it's difficult to actually record what they are.
