Kingslayer is worthless now, especially 10 man. 25 is somewhat impressive at least on Ursin, I know I'm proud of my 25 but I also got it at the 10% not the 30%. It's pretty funny when the title for downing the end of T7 content is 10x rarer than the title for downing the end of T10 content.

Unfortunately (well on most servers) Kingslayer is plagued now so i wouldn't say it is as high and mighty anymore lol.

I don't know much about Shamans, but one in my guild decided to bid a shit load of DKP on Heroic Shard from Halion (Melee DPS one) is this really bis for shamans or is it only "bis" because it is ilvl 284? as far as i was aware arp is a pretty shit stat for enhance shammys

yeah it is. Ive decided to skip out on ArP alltogether so Im sitting with my Herkuml War Token and Heroic Whispering Fanged Skull :3

edit: ArP is only really good if you stack up on it if I understand it correctly. Kinda wierd since the AEP for ArP never goes over 1.7 no matter how much you have (crit and haste is usually 1.9-2.1)

It's essentially the easiest Heroic now. It was at one time a truly heroic dungeon, no one ever ran Oculus besides for achievs. Then once Dungeon Finder came out, they gimped it up, added 2/3 extra badges + chance at mount.

If it's just because your a new 80dk, then ok. But otherwise stop being a gimp.

Oculus is one of the fastest heroics out there. It amazes me that people dump it but will stick around for a mandatory full clear like Nexus or Violet Hold.

In other less irrelevant news my best LK (normal ofc) is about 32% and we did worse today than yesterday with a priest using green quality gems on 251 gear. nerf Infest or nerf PW:S ._.

Its just sad because every group I get into, seems to always include someone that has never done the fight, or enough KS that apparently did the fight dead.

probably has more to do with the fact that I can't get a healer that can keep people alive during the 3rd boss.

and yes, it probably has a little to do with the fact that I haven't seen the dungeon that much on heroic. I have lower end gear since I'm new to 80, but still out dps a lot of other higher gearscores, so it's not a matter of me being 'gimp'.

The 3rd boss isn't really on the healer, because you're only taking damage if you stand in novas and fail to reset your frost buffets. I can understand the heroic being frustrated if all 5 people don't overgear the instance, but it's not like the mechanics are down to the performance of any one player. Stuff like rays on Varos, staying near the Ruby Drake on Eregos or frosttraps on Urom are up to individual players to mitigate if it's going to kill them.

i cant exactly complain about getting the occulus with a freshly dinged 80, its 8 badges of little to no work on anyones behalf. i must have run it 3 times yesterday myself and only once did someone leave and it was a healer at the start of the instance.

The moment you said oculus was too hard, I had every right, more so a requirement, to call you a gimp.

Complaint: Gear Score.

The add-on has great intentions and to be honest I use it a lot more than I thought I would. However, I ran into a problem with my Paladin...

I can easily push my gear score to 5.2k and get myself into ICCs, however this would mean replacing 2 pieces of t9 gear which would take out my Divine Protection bonus (30 seconds off recast/forbearance). I'm currently sitting at 4.9k, and every now and then most common ICC gear score requirement I see is at least 5.2k for tanks (which I could do). The problem I'm seeing is that if I replace the two pieces of gear which is a downgrade compared to what I'm using now, its actually gimping me. Really don't want to gimp myself just to push my gear score up.

Heh, Agreed. Just started playing my dk again, blood tank. He's sitting around 5k atm with mostly 5man gear/bought stuff; 2pc 251 though! Anyway, this tues. reset I'm trying to pug voa25, as tank, and this one guy would only accept people 5.5k+ gs. Seriously, for voa? People past that hardly need the gear. I trolled him hard on my priest after

Side note: I've got this thing going in guild about this other member who's been trying to get his frostbrood for a while on his main, I've got it on my priest. I'm trying to beat him to it on my dk alt, its pretty funny watching him rage seeing how I'm well on my way there, got carried this last week to the first heroic quarter
