Dammit, there's an ICC 10 drake run going on tomorrow and I would have had a spot if I wasn't saved already because I went with some fucking pug that broke up after Saurfang.
Wool cloth stacks being 80g each, with the next cheapest being 200g, and jumping to 400g after that.
Right when I'm leveling tailoring. Time to sneak into stockades on my tauren.
Fuck the Fishing Derby. Damn thing was over in 5min, I chill around to see if I the sharks exist at all and it takes me 50min to catch one to pick up my consolation prize.
I used to farm the shit out of SM: Armory for Silk. Solid AoE class can turn the whole dungeon into 5 or less pulls.
Takes longer to sort through the kills than anything else.
Can't for the life of me remember where I went for Wool though. Runecloth was a bastard too iirc.
Stratholme is awesome for Runecloth.
I like the troll place (Jintha'Alor?) in Hinterlands for Mageweave.
I had all 400 mageweave saved up on an alt.
I got 140wool in 3 runs of stocks, was really quick and easy since I could pull it all at once. Not too hard to get into either as a stealth class from the northrend alliance boat.
I was able to get like 380 rune in one run of strat, so after 2 runs that was done. (needed about 800, had 200 on alt)
I have a lot of bolts of netherweave from when my sister leveled tailoring over a year ago. Good thing she saved them, so I shouldn't need much more cloth than I have (around 200, even though they are really cheap per stack right now).
And I'm currently sitting on about 1000 frostweave, so I might get to around 430ish or so, without really spending any gold at all. Kinda funny that blacksmithing and tailoring were 2 of the cheapest professions for me to level.
I just couldn't believe wool cloth was 80g/stack. I wonder if people even buy that lol. Guess it can really rape a lot of horde players since stocks owns for getting it.
Oh they do. they pay out the ass for it, and it sells quickly. Only reason I wasn't selling it was because I was getting 1k+ per raptor hatchling. When at the end of the day you've made 7k+ from going around the areas and pegging the rares, (20min of work) why do anything else? lol
Oh awesome, so I guess Operation Gnomeregan is ending soon and the event bugs out at the trogg boss and can't be completed. Yay.
Event doesnt bug at troll boss if people waits outside (that said i basically run halfway into the tunnel on 3/4 of my toons with no issues whatsoever)
Edit: /lolstory time leveling war, i queue for BRD prision at lvl47 (?? i think) do the place with no problems, get queue a couple times at 48, same deal no problems, them queue at lvl49 with a druid healer and I die when pulling two rooms (which i been doing since lvl47) and he goes 'you go down too quick and you suck anyway"
/lolstory
I was trying to do it last night and had 2 bugs, I was alone.Event doesnt bug at troll boss if people waits outside (that said i basically run halfway into the tunnel on 3/4 of my toons with no issues whatsoever)
First it bugged before tunnel despite me not remotely going near the tunnel. Guildies advise me to not touch the mobs at all.
2nd attempt, I make it inside the tunnel, but then I had parent aggro and didn't follow King midget into the jump. I jumped late and went in, but died as I got rushed by the mobs as I tried to approach the king.
I recover my body but am unable to proceed further after the mobs die, King thingy was just idling on a platform, and I gave up and went to bed.
Was it because I didn't jump down with him into the tunnel that it bugged out?
Wiping to H LK 25 @ 11%. Sigh :/
I get my mage to 80 today, go to MMO-champion and see "Season 8 is ending Oct. 12".It'll take at least a week to fully gear him up, no point grinding when it's all gonna be over.
Chance of seeing LK25 dead on normal before the expansion is over: Slim to none.
The last four months have been an endless cycle: Old members get sick of old content and quit > recruiting new members takes time because the good ones are few and far between, most are undergeared and need gearing from the first four in ICC > old members get sick of doing the same old > rinse, repeat.

Yeah my 10 man group was the only ones who seemed to be able to get their acts together enough that we might make a kill, but it fell apart a few months ago. I'm not even sure if they ever managed it on 25, I got fed up with the same stupid mistakes being made over and over again by the same people and only ever winning by the skin of our teeth, so I stopped going to those entirely even before that.
Sucks, I was really gung-ho for it thanks to War3 as well.
Once SC2 hit, my 10man group cancelled their accounts. We are all RL friends and the OT had his 2nd kid about 2weeks after SC2 released, and thats all about 5-6 of them play now. I'm not even sure how many are coming back for cata... I think I can account for 4 of us =/
Shit like this makes me miss high end raiding. I hate raiding 5 days a week, I love raiding 5 days a week, I hate when my RL friends dont log on...
Hate that shit.
I re-activated my account because my dad and his mates kept insisting I join them because they needed a 5th to do dungeons with and whatnot.
Been a week and I've not seen a single one of them since I came back and server-swapped my toon.
The last time I did the re-activate+server move was because a friend kept insisting I should join him on his server because he knew people to PuG/Raid with.
My Mage went 40-80 and had nice solid gear set before his Warrior made it to 80. Don't think I ever hit a Dungeon with him.
The only constant is that I spend money and everyone's full of bullshit.
I'm tempted to join a random Guild to try and do old-content Raids with but I know the second I do my dad's friends will look me up and get all pissy that I'm not in their Guild.
